As I have purchased refill and cup holder for the egg thinking that egg was enclosed.** A: Yes I had the egg and the fillers were in separate packs. I'm quite happy with the results however not got kiddies and we are pensioners so I don't launder heavily soiled items. **Q: does it work on towels** A: It definitely works on our towels. Might not have done if the towels had been used by people who just soap up and wipe the dirt off with a towel. In fact, our towels are probably not as dirty as clothes, and so far, I've not been disappointed in washing anything. **Q: I got the 720 washes version, but nobody says how often you have to replace the black pellets. Does anyone know?** A: Mine said when the black pellets are less apparently how you can tell that for sure I don't know good luck 🙂 **Q: Can the egg be used for more than one wash cycle a day? It says it needs to dry out but os that after every use ?** A: You can do 1 wash after the other. I purchase this product on this occasion to give as a gift to a family member, as I was so happy with my product they wanted to try this themselves. The scents you can select are lovely, the instructions are easy to read, and refills for the product are easy to get. This is a great eco friendly alternative that really doesn’t cost a lot. They only thing you may find is that the smell isn’t quite as strong/ doesn’t last as long. But you must understand that this is because they haven’t used lost of harmful chemicals in the product to create that artificial lasting smell. You don’t need to use fabric conditioner, but if you want a lasting fresh smell on your clothes using one in conjunction of this product may help keep that lasting freshness.The product washes clothes well, and can be used on low temperatures. You need to ensure the egg is allowed to dry between washes as this allows the longevity of the pellets.
