Exactly what I've been waiting for
I've wanted wireless earbuds for years. However, I feel pretty strongly against $200 earbuds, so I believe a thorough analysis of this alternative was a worthy of my time and attention, especially from a brand I've been a fan of for over a decade. As soon as I got them a week ago, I broke them out and started my case study.PROS+ Impressive price for impressive technology.+ Sound is awesome. Bass especially, but overall quality is right up to par from what I would expect from Skullcandy.+ Physical design - look + feel of headphones and charger are super cool. Color is perfect.+ Controls are surprisingly intuitive once you learn how to use them. Volume and track seeking are divided between left and right ear buds, which I really like. Has all the controls you'd want from earbuds (which AirPods don't)+ Comfortable. I'm a fan of Skullcandy inner ear grips and feel confident in keeping them in place. That said, these are slightly heavier because of the battery weight and are a bit more likely to fall out.+ Battery life might be too good. Haven't even needed to worry about it.+ Super fast shippingCONS- No immediate feedback when you press a button. There is a light, but it's delayed, and you're not sure if it's on or off or when your touch is recognized or not, particularly when it's in your ear. I think a short beep or haptic feedback would be ideal.- I've taken the earbud out to hear someone talk to me, and just holding it turns them off if my finger is in the right place. Another learning curve.- There are two pairs of grips, one inner one outer ear. My outer ear grip went MIA and now I'm concerned about finding a replacement, and taking my earbud out of the charger isn't as easy with out that grip.Lastly, I think the current 3-star rating is incredibly low for such an awesome device. My guess would be that customers aren't accustomed to a learning curve for earphones, but these definitely have one. Powering on, syncing, and the controls are a bit complicated if you're not used to it. That being said, it's totally doable (they come with directions– definitely worth a glance). Bottom line: they're awesome for what they are, and at a great price. Highly recommend.Wishing replacement outer ear grips came in box, or if Skullcandy sold replacements on Amazon.

Not perfect, but a keeper.
TL;DRPros: Easy connection, great sound, perfect-fit options, water resistance, and decent battery lifeCons: Occasional sound cut out from left bud (easy fix for me), small battery capacity for the case, micro usb charging interface, touch controls sensitivity.(full review below)After using these earbuds for a while, here are a few of my thoughts.Skullcandy once again is providing their unique sound profile, which I love. The pairing process is painless if you have experience pairing any Bluetooth devices before. The build quality is quite nice and the case lid has a nice snap sounding close (though not as good as the Airpods case). The headphones come with different sized tips and removable cushions that provide a great fit for any sized ears. Though not recommended, I have worn these in the shower without any water damage. They are light enough that you don't notice them after 10 minutes of wearing. As noted in some of the other reviews, the left bud will sometimes to catch up with the right one. That being said, it only happened for me twice. I re-paired them and have not had a problem since. The touch controls have worked great for me so far and are pretty easy to remember. In terms of battery life, these are pretty decent. I was able to get 4 hours and 17 minutes (low battery warning at 4hrs 02mins) of continuous connection and playback before the buds died. The case charges them quickly and the case itself charges quickly as well (although I wish it had a larger battery).

Love these BUT
Earbuds themselves are great but 2 issues after long time ownership. The noise canceling silicone that forms to the ear is removable meaning it Will fall off if you grab it wrong and I (personally) can't find replacements for it.Lastly headphones can desync from each other when connecting to multiple devices if you don't connect in a specific way and it's a hassle resyncing

They work great, when they work...
I'm super sad bc I love the ear buds. They sound good, the base is great, the fit is comfortable, etc. But, they're NOT reliable.I have a Pixel 3 (Bluetooth® 5.0). I have been using these for two days while Ive been exercising, then reading.Day 1:They constantly like "pause and unpause" my audio for a split second very frequently. Probs once every 10-30 secs. It's incredibly annoying and I'm not gonna keep these indefinitely if they keep this up. Oh, and they died after less than 3 hrs of use?Day 2:Same as day 1 but now they're randomly just completely disconnecting from my phone, completely unprovoked. So, I'm probably going to be returning these. I'm sad bc they sound great, but just can't seem to be reliable whatsoever.So.. the unreliablility is unfortunate bc I do like them.UPDATE:Used for a month, never really got better. Had to return. Unfortunate but I couldn't hand the unreliability.
