Action10-12 Plastic Wheel Training Wheels

I bought these after having to return another set of training wheels.I had measured my daughter's bike's wheels as 12" I bought another set of training wheels that were for 12" - 16" bike. When I mounted them though, the bike's rear tire was about one inch off the ground, so I ha to return.These training wheels fit perfectly!

Sturdy replacements for the old training wheels that came with the bike. They've been worked over by a 3-year-old boy for the last several months and show only normal wear on the surface of the wheels. We like that there is room to slide the trainers up and down a little bit... as he gets more stable on the bike we've been experimenting with raising them slightly to see how he reacts to the change in balance.Excellent, reasonable product.

These training wheels will not fit a 10-12" bike. They are half inch larger than the training wheels which come on a 10" bike and are the same diameter as standard 14-20" training wheels. The hardware is also comparable size to that of a 14-20" training wheel set (it is the same size as our older son's 14" bike). When we put these wheels on our 2 yrs old's 10" bike, the rear wheel of the bike is 1.25 inches off the ground! His bike is not an unusual design for a 10" bike- its the same as every other 10" bike we've ever seen.The seller's response was that the HARDWARE was meant for a 10-12" bike, and it should work, despite me saying it DID NOT. When I took pictures and sent them to illustrate how the hardware and wheels were both too large to ever work on a 10" bike, they sent me back a terse quote.Please note that when mounted these wheels are 5.25" from the bolt to the ground at the shortest, and the wheels diameter is 4.5". Measure your bike before ordering! These wheels will not accommodate a 10" bike.Amendment: Bike World USA sent me a series of emails concerning the problem after I left a poor product feedback. It was insinuated (never actually offered) after many emails that maybe someone other than the person I was dealing with might be able to authorize a return. I declined; 1) enough is enough, especially if you aren't actually interested in fixing the problem and 2) I have never found the size replacement training wheels I am looking for and so if I removed them from my child's bike, despite them being the wrong size, he would have nothing to hold his bike up while he climbed on. After many emails, with no solution offered on their part, they asked me to remove my feedback (they said they did not believe I could edit it). I said I would try to amend it, but I insisted they send some sales associate to a real store to see and measure real 10" bikes to find out for themselves that their product really didn't work as described. They have not changed the description of their product (which is all I asked of them)! I can not in good conscience change the number of stars I have given this product, because while they are fine training wheels for bigger bikes, they are still not as described, for 10-12" bikes. And as such, I doubt they have ever taken any measures to even determine if there product is as described.

I was putting these on more of a scooter with a seat with 10 inch tires rather than a bike . They would probably work fine for a bicycle. I would say these are poor quality and would be more compatible with 12 inch tires. that’s why I gave them three stars. But shipping was incredibly fast and I appreciate that and returning them is very easy
