Fits and works!
There is no mesh attached as HSM-6B model, need some extra work to add a mesh. It works perfectly after.

Perfect size

Deflecto HS6B 6 fits and does the job
We ordered for a replacement for an existing vent hood. The slats are a little loose, which allows the wind to blow it open if hits just right. We do have to tape it shut on windy days in the winter. I guess it needs to open easy to allow the air from the vent a hood to blow out. Other than that it was easy to install, and looks great.

Opens in the wind – can’t recommend. Not good quality!
I needed to replace an existing vent hood which was broken. This one is opening and closing in the wind and extremely loud. If it’s windy I can hear it opening and closing in the kitchen. Also it is out of thin plastic and is without any kind of netting that no animals can crawl in (some of the other vent hoods have this). Certainly not a good product. I can’t recommend this.

Nice high quality hard to find item.
I had trouble finding a 6" vent hood for my bathroom vent fan in installed in my basement I am finishing.This fit my needs perfectly and is a nice high quality item.I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.I hope this was helpful.
