Worked well to hoist bird feeders. The metal hook could be stronger metal as it bended from weight and wind, but bent it back with plyers and is holding fine. Useful product and good price!

Do you love plants that hang? Try this cool hook! It makes it easier for u to water them and to make sure to check on them without getting a ladder everytime. It's heavy duty.

To use: Hang triangle on hook. Stretch out the cord several times before attaching plant. To lower: Grasp plant with both hands. Gently push UP to release the lock and then pull down. To raise: Push plant all the way back to top using both hands. Lower your hands. Plant will come down about an inch and you will hear the lock click. A little practice saved me from returning them.

I like this product. I no longer have to get out the step ladder to change the hummingbird feeder. However, when I take the feeder off the hook, it retracts all the way up and I need the ladder to pull it back down. I have solved this by attaching a long iron hook to it which I can reach from the ground. I pull it down with that hook to re-attach the bird feeder. I would be nice if the line would halt at various points when it is not weighed down with an item. Otherwise, nicely done!

I am enjoying my hanging plants, much easier to care for now, with the use of the pulley.

Although an ingenious idea, there was no instructions and I was unsure how to hang them. The hanging baskets I hoped to use these for must have been too oversized and too heavy as it would fully extend when I put the basket on and then the weight wouldn't allow me to take them back up

Si je tire dessus, le mécanisme ne permet pas de l'arrêter à la hauteur voulu. J'en ai acheté des identiques il y a environ 4 ans et je pouvais tirer sur la poulie et l'arrêter où je voulais mais pas celui-ci donc à quoi me sert cet article ?

they do not work, I still have to get a ladder out to water my plant. I do not know how to make it lower, there is no instructions.
