I’m normally a quickset man, but the look of these and the positive reviews made me take a chance. Black Friday sale made them even more appealing. They’ve got great heft to them, were well packaged, and installation was a breeze. Granted, the latches I was replacing were standard, so aside from popping off the latch plate (because my doors use the collar), it was straight forward. Great instructions, too. I’m so happy with them that I bought enough to do the rest of the house, including keyed entry and deadbolts. Yes, they’re made in China (or Taiwan), but that doesn’t mean cheap in this case. 5 stars!

Very nice door handles at a great sale price, expecially for Baldwins. Replaced all the bedrooms and bathroom handles. Very smooth and easy installation. I previously tried a Schlage F40 FLA 619, but the push button lock made a loud pop noise when unlocked. Annoying, especially at night. Baldwin flip switch is almost salient. One note, had to flip the locking switch back a forth a few times too loosen them up before install. Not a big issue.

My contractor recommended Baldwin products as the best product for the money, and he was right. The doors and hardware were the first things my contractor replaced in a 3-month renovation, and it was a pleasure to see and use these beautiful doorknobs throughout the home, even as the rest of the apartment was covered in dust. The hardware has a solid feel, never shows fingerprints (brushed satin), and shut with a resounding click. I've had them for 3 months now and each day I'm increasingly pleased with this purchase. I only wish I had bought them years ago; they would have given my older apartment a much-needed, inexpensive facelift, and were so easy to install!

Only the best! I purchased a few Schlage Lever style handles and those weren't nearly as nice as these, so I returned them. These are solid feeling, much more quality than other brands. AND you don't have to turn the handle as far to open the door, which is what I was looking for. The Schlage had to turn almost 70 degrees to open the door, these only have to turn 40 degrees! Awesome, very happy with my purchase. Like they say - "You get what you pay for"

I hadn't heard of Baldwin before a trip to my local Home Depot. They've been around for while and traditionally make high end door hardware. By high end I'm talking three to four digits high end. I believe you can even design custom knobs should you desire. What drew me to these levers over the old standard is the (and I didn't know this before looking into Baldwin more closely) use of the "Estate Latch" which only requires 28 degrees of movement to open retract the latch. Great if you are older and find using standard levers difficult. An additional note is the weight of these levers. You're getting some serious hardware. I've replaced knobs and levers in the past, but they all weighed nearly nothing in comparison to these units.The first unit I purchased ended up having a mechanical problem. I highly recommend, though it may have been a fluke, checking the latch to verify it will retract flush to the plate. A tip when installing the lever is when installing the internal half of the unit to be aware of the position of the lock. The first one I installed end up shooting the lock out, but thankfully no damage was done as all I had to do was slide it in and turn it so it lined up with the internal mechanism.I really like these levers. I'm not sure if Kwikset bought Baldwin, but Baldwin uses Kwikset's SmartKey for lock re-keying. Have used this door handle in 2 different homes. Never regretted the expense.Wonderful change where grasping a knob has become a problem.Stylish, sturdy, functional. I love, love these handles.

ZERO STARS. Whoever was in charge of sending this to me should be audited for their work ethic. I received various pieces of different locks including different manufacturers. The lock mechanism was for an outside key lock. The handles were for a closet door and trim was from two different lock companies. The screws had wood shavings on them and the insert was for a kwikset lock not a Baldwin bathroom lock. I am in the process of replacing all the lock sets in my house and have 5 more in my 🛒. I'll need at least 28 more sets. I guess we'll be off to Homedepot instead.
