I absolutely love this line if you are looking for a braided line stop here and by the biggest spool you can get. I have used this line almost 4 years now I’ve hooked just about everything you can find in the Pacific Northwest with it and I have never had any problems with it ever. My go to line is 65lb superpower braid but I just got a spool if the extremists braid and I have a new favorite. The line might be a little bigger then other but it will by for out preform any other on the marked. I have power pro, spider wire and Sufix and nothing can even come close. It is a non coated but that is an advantage if you are running a bait caster or a level wind. I can’t say anything bad about it. Buy all you can and don’t ever look back

I've spooled several reels with other Kastking line and I've never been dissatisfied with their braid. This Extremus appears to be as quality a product I've come to expect from Kastking.

13/10 ordering more after I post this review. I can’t say much for how it holds up after extended use. However my first impressions are it runs smooth on my spinning reels. Looks amazing contrasting my red and black rods/reels. The braid is tight and I stress tested in the garage and I am highly satisfied. Let’s see how the the snakeheads do against this braid

I have not had any wind knots, the color has held up after multiple days using in saltwater fishing.

Have been buying Power Pro braided lines for several years and paying top dollar for their braid. Two months ago I purchased the Power Pro Super 8 Slick because they advertise that Super Slick casts farther. I purchased 300 yds and had nothing but problems with wind knots. The same time I was using the Super 8 Slick I also was using another surf rod with plain Power Pro braid and did not experience any wind knots. With the Slick 8, I spent lots of my time removing wind knots and removing line because of the wind knots. I looked at the reviews for KastKing Extremus Braided Fishing Line and read good things about KastKing and decided to give it a try. For 50% less than Power Pro the KastKing Extremus casts just as far as Power Pro if not a bit farther, is just as strong as Power Pro AND you get to keep about 50% more of your money. I did not experience wind knots like I experienced with Power Pro Super 8 Slick. I will never go back to Power Pro.

Like other Kastking braids I have used in the past, the Extremus performs as good or better than higher priced names on the market. I have used Kastking braid, since shortly after it was introduced to the market. I have been more than pleased with the performance, castability, abrasion resistance, and strength of the braid. I have used the Kastpro for a while now on my spinning setups, and the Extremus was first used on one of my heavy action heavy cover rods, and I am now on another spool to replace some line on another couple of rods for the season. I highly recommend the Kastking, and will continue using it personally.
