DOCKERSMen's Beacon Boat Shoe

I bought these to wear in summer without socks. I wore them out to a store the first time and could not wait to get home and remove them. The backs of my heels were cut and bleeding. I have been wearing deck shoes for at least 30 years and never had this issue. I buy a new pair yearly. I also found out I could not return them since I threw out the box which I normally do not do but since I have worn the same size for many years and never had an issue I did this time. I am hoping I can use them when back to long pants and socks. I ordered a pair of Rockport's which have always been comfortable and my mistake for not doing the first time.

These are ok for the money. They are getting more comfortable as they break in. The real problem is they feel like they arn’t curved enough, almost like you have the shoes on the wrong foot. Not to that extreme, but you get the feeling I am describing. I would recommend spending more money and getting the Sperry’s. They feel like slippers right out of the box and last for ever.

Well obviously you do because you've taken time to read a review of this pair and are thinking about purchasing them!Seriously though, these Dockers Beacon Men's Boat Shoes are just what I was looking for in terms of the right combination of style and comfort. I won't lie that I was a bit hesitant about the color choice at first, ditching the traditional browns for a blue but I gotta say they really do pop and look pretty snazzy with both jeans and shorts.Although they might be a little stiff when you first get them, you'll soon have them worn into the point that they slip on and off easily making these one of your go to shoes for the spring and summer months!

The only thing I would change was getting a half size larger. I usually wear an 11, but these are a little on the tighter size for me. Not enough to stop wearing them, but something to keep in mind for a replacement order.

The shoe is abysmal quality. Upon the 4th wear, the seam is already splitting. Priced lower than Sperry, I thought this was a nice alternative but I will never buy Dockers again. Don’t waste your money.

These Docker shoes arrived 3 days ahead of schedule. Opened the box, put them on and WOW they were exactly like the photos and fit perfect. I had tried a similar shoe 2 weeks before that cost $22 less and appeared to be the same. However when I put them on I had to really tighten the shoestrings to the point that it was uncomfortable and my heels still pulled out upon each step. I think it was a design that had a little of the "one size fits all" concept.

I have always worn 11.5W in Dockers shoes the last two pairs I have bought have come close to fitting. One was way to large and these most recent way to small. I screwed up and wore them for a day so now I can't return them. I will never order Docker shoes again

I purchased a similar shoe, different color, from you not long ago. The shoes I received today were a big disappointment. The material was of a poorer quality, the insole did not offer the same degree of comfort, and the fit was a little tighter I might add that these shoes were made in a different country. I'll keep them. If they don't break in well, they"ll go to Good Will. I might add that your delivery notice stated that they were left in my mail box. In reality, they were left leaning against my front door.After wearing this shoe for a day, I've decided that it is one of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever owned. I should have returned them!

The order arrived well ahead of schedule & the shoe box, which was only enclosed in a plastic bag, was in good condition. My usual size is a US 11 (M) but the nearest available was a US 11.5 (W). Fortunately, I just put my orthotic in on top of the inner sole, put on medium thickness socks & I had a perfect fit.The shoes are well made, as I have found previously with the Docker brand, & their color is exactly as the image on screen shows.I recommend these shoes & will buy again.

I wear size 13s and these shoes are tight. My toes are at the tip and the back of my heel gets cut whenever I wore them. I keep telling myself to wear them out with socks but so far after a few times my feet can't bare to walk in these shoes. I won't bother with ordering a size up but consider it if you absolutely want a pair of these shoes. I would't recommend these shoes however

When I ordered these shoes I was expecting a hard time with my feet but this did not happen. Very confortable from the first day, I did not have to break these shoes in.,

Nice colour and material is nice, but had to return, a bit too narrow at the toes.
