Zetetic Astronomy: Earth Not a Globe (Illustrated)

This review will be in 2 parts. 1 part Before reading this book. And 1 Part after having read it.Part 1 :-)I just downloaded this book. I have been intrigued lately by the idea of a flat earth. The reason I find myself intrigued is because I feel both viewpoints have credibility, flat earth and globe earth. But I have know about the globe earth idea my whole life, even embraced it at times and marveled at it. Having it make sense to me all along. But since I haphazardly heard about the flat earth view, I can't help but be intrigued. Yea, I know that if the earth is flat, there is a HUGE conspiracy and satellites don't exists, nasa never went to the moon, cell towers don't connect your call via satellite, images of earth from space must all be fakes, etc. There's a lot to go along with it. But, since there are some quite remarkable proofs that a flat earth enjoys, I feel the need to investigate. Investigate, I know... "Read a book about a flat earth and call it investigating..." But I do need to know what this side of the coin has to offer before I make my decision. Let me give you some background on me, in case you have nothing better to do with yourself and your time. I a, currently 33 years old. I've always been a good child to my parents and In school. With a few hiccups along the way of course. I graduated about 5th in my high school class with a 96 average. I have always enjoyed math, science, and socializing. I played basketball for my high school, where I even was a starter the year we won our sectionals. I went to prom with pretty girls. I had good friends. I was pretty average and blessed. After high school i went to and graduated from college with a 3.8 at the University at Albany, NY. I majored in information science and minored in both mathematics and computer science. I specifically enjoyed my math career which involved calc 1,2,&3, linear algebra, and more. as well as my science career which involved physics 1&2. College was great.. I must also mention that my family raised me as a Christian. I don't find myself to be an overly emotional type Christian. But one who receives satisfaction from truth, rather than an emotional song or worship service. I've always felt God and understood through math and science the creativity and grandeur of God. I also asked him repeatedly for wisdom when I was younger, as Solomon did. And I feel he has given it to me. While others in my life fail to understand things or fail to be able to reason. I excel. When their life is in torment and is a roller coaster. Mine is calm, no matter my circumstances. So that's about it. I wanted to explain who I am and how I am approaching this book before I read it and provide my review on it, perchance it will help others. I will say this though, while others have and may continue to mock me: Let God be true and men be liars. I will ALWAYS choose God over the world. So for those who do not take this stance, you may not agree with or understand the things I say, or even why I say them. Now let's see how long it takes me to read this book. I always hated English class... :-/

If ever a person needed to find out about the reality of Our world, please read this short book cover to cover. This book plainly describes what the Wizards-of-Smart have decided as Our true cosmology, when in reality it's the EXACT opposite. Boats don't go over a physical EDGE!!! The Moon is it's Own light!! The reality uncovered since 1890 makes the average "Dude" wonder why the Powers-that-be would hide such obvious realities?? Oh I don't know, 600 billion reasons go to NASA next year, so there's THAT!!!!!!!

Well, it is a good book to discover how flat earthers twist facts to fit their narrative. One example he uses is that of a very long tunnel to illustrate how the sun sets. He states how in a certain tunnel, the end was so far away that the light looked like a star because it was so small. And that, my friends, is how the sun appears to set. What he doesn't realize is, that he needs a tunnel that is 20 miles long and 3 miles high to illustrate how the sun would work if the earth was flat, not to mention how big the end of the tunnel would have to be to see the sun's disk at sunset.

Yeah this read is definitely a help for the questions you’ve asked yourself but had no answer up until now. There’s in-depth information for each proof provides & there’s illustrations to go along with them.

In depth study of the flat earth. Have been studying flat earth since 2017. So I was glad to have this one.

I like it but it's for tech heads. It explains all but is a hard read. Maybe that's just me. For guys & girls that got all A+'s in Science.

A must have for your bookshelf. When better to have a debate about the shape of our plane of existence then when entertaining guests. Heck buy multiple and leave them around the house on ever coffee table and at every toilet.

Great book if you want to better understand flat earth truth and why we are told earth is a globe.

Waist of money!I was expecting maps, mathematician proofs, pictures of stars, better explanations of perspective and sun in Antarctica.I found few amateurs tiny drawings of boats in perspective as a whole continent in ratio of the curve of the earth. I am disappointed.

My father enjoyed reading this book and had been after it for some time.
