I also find deodorants and perfumes too sweet, too flowery or too something offensive in general. My best guy says I have a supernatural sense of smell and his is probably right as I can smell even when people are about to get sick. Well... in any case, this is a great scent and it doesn't smell artificial either. It hasn't bothered my skin not even once and it lasts okay for just a deodorant with no bad stuff in. My best guy also said he loved it for a while and he must have used it for about half a year before he went back to the aluminum bad stuff--because he felt not secure enough for the summer sweating. But let me check again with him... (calling him) "Yes, I would recommend it. I would say it is very good for about 6 to 8 hours and then it starts to wear off. But I would say this. I looooove the way it smells. It doesn't smell like sage, it smells like a really fresh clean smell. I really like how it smelled. It became my quick freshen up deodorant. Few quick sprays and I would go out. The ladies would go crazy when I wore it. I couldn't even get to the bottom of my stairs before the ladies got interested."
