Helikon-Tex Bushcraft Line, Bushcraft Satchel

Very well made. Nice material. Excellent stitching. Lots of room. Right now I have the Lanshan 2 tent, a 10x12 Gold Armour tarp and a hefty size fire kit inside. There is still room for a water bottle(lengthwise) and a small stove, and other misc. items. Enough room to stick smaller items also in the side pocket on the outside. It was 60 dollars when I purchased it, and IMO, well worth it. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Definitely recommend.

It's versatile, does not get attention and will fit a lot of gear (eg: camera, lenses, etc), looks military and that's a plus when traveling.Only con: lacks structural cohesion (behaves truly like a bag) so things inside have to be in their own pouches.

I really like this satchel, can carry ED woods or city. I chose green because black stands out and screams where as green and tan are subdued and the eye casually passes those colors. It is roomy and can carry all I need for a day out regardless of place. Well built too! Cannot think of wearing it out. My second one is for a dedicated doggie field bag.

This is my "go to" bag when I need to carry a few items for a simple trek into the woods. The two circular side pockets on the inside allow me to easily carry 2L of water, and there is a mesh zippered pouch that can store keys, compass, phone, etc.. The bag can hold a small fire kit, my coffee kit, and other odds and ends.There is molle on both ends, and I paired with the Helicon-Tex molle pouch when I want to carry a small camp stove, fuel, and an extra small pot.I recently used this bag for a multi-day handgun glass out in the elements... I had hot food and drink and a place to stuff my rain gear.My only (minor) complaint is the lack of padding on the strap, but I can add that myself.

Great quality bag.

This bag is very high quality and will last a long time. Just don’t take it on a serious hike or you will be hurting. I’m sorry but nothing beats two straps for hiking. After the first mile the one strap gets old and this pack becomes majorly uncomfortable. Your shoulder will be hamburger meat and you will have this weird one sided pain in your back. It was really hard to get a good stride going bc I constantly adjusted this thing, and I never had two free hands. This thing will flop around like a dead fish. Very annoying when you’re trying to find your footing scrambling uphill. It became almost dangerous at one point. There is ALOT of room in here. Just don’t think about filling it or you will regret it. I suggest no more than about 5-10 lbs if you are going more than a mile. Don’t forget, you are carrying all that weight on one shoulder. What is normally a comfortable weight for you with a two strap bag, cut that in half and that’s what this bag will carry comfortably. I cannot stress that enough. Do not use this as a hiking/ survival bag or you will regret it and it may cost you a lot more than the price of this bag. Like I said earlier, this bag is of super high quality, and I’m really glad I bought it. The outside zipper pocket fits a tablet/laptop perfectly. I really like the inside drink holder, but was two really necessary? This bag is perfect when I’m riding the bus or just hanging out in the city. It carries water, tablet, light jacket, wallet, keys, one book and some snacks. Don’t put more than that in there, trust me. Don’t try to ride a bike with it bc this bag will flop around if you have any tough maneuvering to do. I currently use it as a range bag/urban day bag, and I love it!!! It is totally worth the money I paid, and I really do like this bag. It’s frkn awesome!!! Just please do not entrust your life to this bag by taking it into the bush/field. It will fall short, and it could put you in a dangerous spot. I cannot stress that enough.

It's a well made bag with lots of uses.

I baught this bag for an EDC, but it's so durable, and holds so much stuff, I have over filled it. But it's still workable. I recommended it to some friends and two bought their own bags, and love them too. This is a VERY high quality bag that will last a long time and take the abuse of every day carry. GET ONE! Or two! The color options are many, and make this a must have.
