and they were perfect. I wore these hiking in Banff
I followed the fitting advice listed, and they were perfect. I wore these hiking in Banff, Canada, and they performed great. There is a super-soft layer of fleece on the inside, making them very comfortable. I was worried that the fleece lining would make the pants too hot once I started working up some heat hiking, but the outer material isn't too thick and it is reasonably breathable, so the overall thickness was actually perfect. The color patches look cool, the knees are really tough and sturdy, and all the pockets being zippered is a huge plus. It even comes with its own belt, which is low profile with a quick-release buckle. I didn't expect this, and it was awesome, because you don't want a large bulky belt on hiking pants, otherwise it will be uncomfortable under the waistband/kidney pads of your backpack. This belt was perfect under a pack all day. I'd like to purchase a jacket that is made with the same materials, because it is strong, comfy, and lightweight considering how warm they are.

Pleasantly surprised
These things fit perfect. I bought another pair of a different brand and they were too tight and wouldn't properly fit over my boots. These things feel like 100 dollar pants. I haven't field tested them yet but the expansion fabric in the knees and waist prevent the pant from pulling up at the ankle and riding down from the waist when moving. On first impression, these pants are a extremely good value. I am questioning the 2 star rating on these pants, because the material seems worth more than 20 bucks itself. I am pretty sure it is a phony review from another seller. I'm not sure about the return policy but I'm pretty sure you don't have to pay for return shipping if you are skeptical about my review. I bought these for biking in colder weather. I hope this review is helpful to anyone considering these pants, because I know the hassle of returning items. Btw I am 6 ft and normally wear a 32-33 inseam and a 32-34 waist

NOT that "Great" and NOT that "Warm"! (Chinese made)...
The colors of these pants is what caught my eye, so I thought I'd try them. Having judged by the descriptions and reviews before I ordered, I had some reasonable expectations... I think some of these other reviewers are either wrong or lying or are actually the seller/manufacturer (just look at the bad grammar in the descriptions and some of the reviews!!). First, there is a THIN "Fleece" lining, but NOT completely throughout the pants, in FACT, if you look at the pictures, you see the grey areas on the knees and along the top in the back? those grey areas are NOT fleece lined! In fact, they are a somewhat see-through MESH! So, these are absolutely NOT for cooler or wetter weather without leggings or long, insulating underwear! Also, considering the notorious, infamously BAD workmanship of Chinese goods, along with the fact that pants like these are intended for RUGGED use, you should expect these pants to tear or fall apart on or along the grey/mesh areas! But, they're not a TOTAL loss, I'll have to sew a flannel fabric to the inside of the grey mesh areas which should provide the insulation that was PROMISED and hopefully make the pants structurally stronger. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY!!!

Very comfortable, flexible
Arrived on time. Fit as expected. Very comfortable, flexible, stylish. I can't attest to their durability yet as I have not put them trough the paces of the elements. I'll update when I do. but for now, I like.

Something definitely wrong with some of these.
I think one of the other reviewers nailed it -- there must be some scam artist sending counterfeit goods for some of these orders (even though mine were bought with prime/shipped by amazon). It's the only thing that makes sense in light of pictures of people wearing these on mountains and extolling their virtues, while the version that was shipped to me would have been fine except that the fabric over the articulated knees was abrasive thin mesh, no lining under it. I wouldn't wear these on a mildly cold day, much less on a mountaintop in the snow season, you'd get frostbite. So, be aware that at least some of the product appears to be counterfeit or otherwise defective and make sure you can return for free when ordering (if you choose to try your luck)

Seemed OK but way too big...returned.
Seems like nice quality but returned because they were huge. I'm a lady and did read the size chart.
