The adhesive backing is strong enough to stay put but doesn't leave a sticky residue if you need to reposition it.One thing to note is that while the material is soft and flexible, it can be a bit tricky to apply smoothly over large surfaces without getting air bubbles. Taking your time during application helps, and using a flat edge to smooth it out as you go can make a big difference. Also, the black color looks sleek but tends to show dust and lint more easily, so it might require occasional cleaning to maintain its appearance.Overall, this felt fabric is a versatile option for various projects, offering both aesthetic appeal and functional protection. Just be prepared for a bit of patience during application to get the best results.

Great for backing in a shadow box

Perfect for lining my custom wood boxes!

I was using this felt to line drawer bottoms made from 1/4" birch plywood. It's thin which can be either good or bad depending on your use. For me, the fact that it was thin, prevented me from having to cut a wider rabbet join for the drawer bottoms. However, if you're not using finished or furniture grade ply, know that any imperfections may show through the felt. Otherwise, the felt seemed ok. It gives my projects a nice finished look and feel.

I love this product! I used it to line a jewelry box, as well as put on some French doors to block out the light. It is thick and soft velvet. Very strong wonderful

I use the felt to line wooden boxes. This has been the best combination of good adherence and tight weave that I have found. Most of the other inexpensive felt has a fairly loose weave with lots of fibers everywhere. This one was close to the texture of a pool table and felt more durable.I am well pleased

At workers for a job I was doing and had some left over and I use it for all kinds of stuff It's really handy to have. Makes things look a little extra special.
