Excellent quality and super easy to use
I recently purchased a new iMac and needed an updated external CD drive/ burner. (Yes, I'm old school.). After reading numerous reviews, I picked this one. Very impressed. It's plug and play, no software download needed. Has some instructions, but it's almost self explanatory. Have uploaded and burned CD's and it works quite well for both.

A very portable external USB DVD/CD drive. Plug and Play - it's that simple!Great product for the price. Works well for old CDs that have old pictures and documents or just watching DVD movies. Its size makes it easy to pack up and travel, and plug in and have it sit on top of your desktop or nearby. The disk trey, like all disk treys, feels a little flimsily but it is solid - just don't mistake it for a cup holder!Runs fairly quiet and fast. Overall, a good external DVD/CD drive and does exactly what it is supposed to do!Now a days, most PC's don't come with a DVD/CD drive built in, this is a great option!

Prompt delivery
USB cable is attached which is a good feature. The unit vibrates more than expected but that may be due to the light weight. Coulkd format DVD -R new discs.

Works fine and is well worth the money.
Inexpensive and works perfectly. However I'm going to need more than the 8" or so of cord it comes with.

Piece of Junk - Save your money
Upon first try of connecting the drive and trying to open the disc tray it wouldn't open. My computer also would not recognize the device as it would not stay connected long enough. When hitting the 'open' I finally got it to budge but then it wouldn't open far enough to allow me to put the actual disc in. Absolutely not worth the money and highly DO NOT recommend.

Great for playing CD’s
Needed something for my PC to play the CD’s I accumulated over the year and this worked great.It could read my CD’s without issue and worked fine for ripping music onto my PC.No necessary software needed as it’s just plug and play.My only complaint would be the extremely short cable that in my case can only reach the top USB ports.I appreciate that they also included a USB A to USB C adapter.

Excellent addition to my laptop
Excellent product! Unpack, plug and play. So easy. Comes with 2 adapters to plug into the laptop. Works great!
