I've just redesigned my home office with a lovely wooden floor and plush chair. I really didn't want to ruin the aesthetic with a plastic cover to protect the floor but was concerned about castors making marks. I found these by chance and thought I'd give them a try. Wow! I love everything about them. They're careful packaged and feel like quality items before they're even out of the box. They look super stylish, much smarter than castors and glide so smoothly leaving no trace on my beautiful floor. Whoever thought of this is a total genius. My chair feels like it's on roller skates, which is exactly what they are. I love them so much I've immediately ordered another set for my partners chair so he can do away with the awful plastic mat on the floor! Functionality: Straight swap for castors, takes seconds to do. Glides like roller skates. Floor protection: No marks on expensive floors.

Ordered these wheels to upgrade my Haworth Zody chair which was getting stuck on the rug and making terrible noise on hard floors. They arrived today and I installed them immediately - the difference is night and day! These wheels are incredibly smooth and virtually silent on both surfaces. The upgrade was even better than I anticipated. The chair now glides effortlessly across carpet without getting stuck, and there's no more annoying rolling noise on hardwood. Installation was straightforward and they feel very well-made. I'm already considering getting another set for my wife’s office chair. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with noisy or stuck chair wheels!

These literally arrived 10-minutes ago and I installed them right away and I'm actually blown away at the difference! I've had this chair for probably 10 years now and never even considered changing the wheels until I recently noticed how loud they were through the floor when my partner was using my desk. I looked these up and sat on it for a couple of months (no pun intended), but I wish I'd bought them instantly. Not only is my chair now basically silent, but the glide is fantastic - something I didn't even realise mattered to me until now! They were very simple and pretty quick to install, even with my old wheels needing a little persuasion with some long-nose pliers to lever them out. Once out, the new wheels just slide in. They look and feel really strong and well-built, and I'm now gliding around my office like I'm on ice. I'm very rarely this impressed by a product, and it may sound silly as they are "just" a set of wheels for a chair, but this is possibly one of the best investments I've made this year! At least in terms of quality of life improvement. I wish I appreciated the need for these sooner, I wish I had these installed from the start, and I'm low-key excited to sit at my computer over the next few weeks!

My chair had started to wear on our oak floor in the home office but these are much kinder on it. They are very easy to fit - I just pulled off the old wheels and pushed these back on. They are very sturdy and feel like a big upgrade on the OEM wheels. They had the effect of slightly lifting the chair but it has adjustable height so not an issue for me. I was concerned at first that there would be unwanted movement from the chair as they are ridiculously smooth running but I got used to this very quickly and now see the ease of movement as a benefit rather than an issue.

This is the sort of review I like to be able to find before buying, which is the only reason I'm writing this one. Fitted these to my fairly heavy office chair becuase I want to also use it ofr sim racing, so the locking wheels were ideal. I'm currenlty also using a floor mat, which is ok but not great. I figured this would fix both problems. Let me be clear, these wheels _are_ excellent. The build quality is fantastic, the motion is super smooth on either my current floor mat, or the 15 year old carpet underneath (it does ruckle the carpet up slightly as it rolls, but I think thats more the carpet than the chair and my ...er.... added weight. The locking function works really well and is easy to use with a foot (though disengaging is a alittle trickier with toes, best just to bend down to release!), and fitting literally took minutes - it was harder to take the old ones out than put these in. But, the reason I don't get on with these and will be returning them is that change in direction is harsh as the castors rotate. My current chair has double castor wheels on each arm and no matter what direction I want to move in, the original wheels obey with almost no resistance. These wheels allow the movement until the castor is perpendicular to your direction, then there is quite a 'notch' of resistance to get the castor to rotate past that point and then be 'with' the direction of travel. This is often accompanied with a slight unwanted sideways movement as the castors go from rolling, to pivoting, to rolling again. This happens even when moving a short distance (just a few inches is enough) in one 'plane', e.g in and out from your desk slightly as you change position - you'll meet some resistance, then jimmy off to the side slightly, then straighten up again. Any time you move in a direction that is different to the last one you moved in (basically, the wheels need to pivot to align with your motion), this happens. This might not bother some people, but unfortunately was a dealbreaker for me. It might also not be an issue at all on a hard floor, where there is less resistance, I don't know. Otherwise these wheels are heavenly - so smooth, brake really well, etc. I think this could probably be eliminated by doubling up the castors, like the wheels that are already on my chair? I'm not seeing any 'roller blade' style castors with two wheels per arm AND locking function though. If these guys made them, I'd happily buy.

I had one caster that semi broke off my office chair. I also used a mat to protect my wooden flooring. With these I have fixed my chair and it runs smoother plus no more mat whoop! It really glides across the floor now. Thumbs up from me.!

Producto perfecto, he cambiado las ruedas de mi silla de oficina y son perfectas. Tal y como indicaban en la descripción. Lo único es que la silla se mueve mucho más rápido al tener menos rozamiento y al principio se hace raro pero una vez te acostumbras es una gozada ya que te desplazas sin esfuerzo y no deja marcas en el suelo de madera. Si lo sé las habría cambiado antes
