I love these
I have big wide feet and it's hard to find wide shoes that fit and look good so when I buy shoes I try to get a few pairs of good shoes to last for a good while. I pretty much only wear asics because they are easily the most comfortable, best looking, durable, breathable, shoe brand I've ever tried and they carry quite a bit of wide and extra wide styles. Now obviously that's not the most objective statement a person can make because I can't provide statistical data to back up my claims but I know that for me and for my experience with shoes, these last a lot better and fit better than Nike's, they look a lot better and also outlast Rebok's, they fit better and outlast Adidas, and they're more supportive and comfortable that pumas, avias, converse, and sketches and those don't have anything I like the look of. The only other brand of shoes I've had good luck with are New Balance. These particular Asics are my favorite of the pairs I own. Stupid me wore them while using expansion foam to fill in gaps between wall packs in my sunroom to insulate it better and I should a dab of that stuff on the toe. I don't know what they make expansion foam out of but it apparently forms a molecular bond with shore mesh in such a way that it creates a new material impervious to cleaning supplies of any kind. These were a really good price too. I think I only paid $45 for these which is awesome because big fat feet people get penalized by show companies for having big fat feet and they jack up wide shoes and particularly wide shoes over size 11.

Best Running Shoe I've Ever Owned
A year ago my runs topped out at a three or four miles, which had been my limit for a few years. At the age of 40 and some change I didn't think I was ever going to be able to push beyond that. Then I happened on a pair of these shoes at a ridiculously low price, now I'm ripping off 8 mile runs with ease, and even 10-11 hilly miles on occasion. The shoes have held up extremely well over a year and roughly 1000 miles. I'll probably have to change them out soon simply for all the mileage I've put on them, but their performance has been amazing. As for the fit, I take a 9.5, and they fit me perfectly, with not trouble using thin socks in the warmer months and full wool for cold winter days. They breathe well, which is really great in the hot of summer (but of course less than ideal in colder weather, hence the wool socks).Ultimately, it's an amazing shoe, changed my life. An incredible value at its regular price.

GOOD FOR REGULAR OR NARROW FEET.
Great running shoes. A little stiff and snug out of the box, but my husband, who has a regular width, said they loosened up after a two wears and fit perfectly. He uses them to work out and do yard work. This color works great to hide grass stains obviously so much better than shoes with white heels.

I buy same or similar shoes annually.
They are comfortable, not too expensive, and can handle sports.

The perfect running shoe for value and comfort
I've had a couple periods of my life, each lasting a few months, where I ran pretty consistently--but I never kept it up. I decided to take up again almost five years ago in my mid-30s, and I haven't stopped since (only for water breaks)! This was the first time I realized I needed an actual running shoe, and somehow I stumbled upon the Asics Gel-Contend series (I think the 3rd generation). For the last several years, this is my sole running shoe--pun intended, because if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I know my size, they are comfortable and supportive without feeling overly-cushioned, and they've kept me mostly injury-free through a marathon, a half-marathon, several 10Ks, countless 5Ks, and thousands of miles of training. Best of all, they're CHEAP! My running buddies often spend north of $100 on shoes and have different pairs for races, etc. But I never use anything but these and have never paid more than $50. As a result, it doesn't pinch my wallet to replace them every 400 miles (about every 3 months). In my return to running, I've discovered that cheap new shoes are better than expensive old ones, so I will just continue to buy these as long in whatever generation is on sale at the end of my 3 months. Or, better yet, just check periodically and buy them when they're on sale and have a pair in reserve. My only gripe is that I always get a blister on my right second toe with these shoes. But since it's been so long since I've worn any others, it might not be the shoe. Not enough to take off a star.PRO TIP: Keep these things from stinking (especially after running in the rain) with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Sof-Sole-Sneaker-Locker-Deodorizer/dp/B003IJ6HFM/ref=sr_1_3?crid=194MBZ176NAEZ&keywords=sneaker+balls+shoe+deodorizers&qid=1563493495&s=gateway&sprefix=sneaker+balls%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-3

Very nice quality and very comfortable.
I bought these for my husband. He wears a size 12 and these fit great. He wears them all the time and says they are super comfortable.

Very comfortable cushion with a nice style
As someone who's had a narrow foot most of his life, the medium felt a little snug at first. Suffice to say I didn't have to lace them through the extra holes to make them tighter. I shouldn't be too picky as they are quite comfortable and the amount of cushion feels just right (not too squishy and not too firm--kind of a Goldilocks thing!). It may have a bit too much cushion for a seasoned runner but I just wanted a pair of sneakers for walking my dog--my running days are over. Considering the price point, they're a perfect match. Perfectly suited for my needs without having to go "high end" as I'm not concerned with trimming ounces for a long-distance running shoe.
