The marking tool is great - snap it on any ball - run your marker through the groves - remove the tool - you now have a practice ball perfectly marked so that you can get a perfect putter head face to ball alignment The training ball device is also quite good. I previously bought a similar training device where there were two outer rotating wheel like disks that didn't compare to this in functionality. With that other device no matter how good I hit the ball the ball wobbled all over - with this device I could make a put and really see the effects with immediate ball feedback My one concern is that when the marking tool isn't on the ball I may end up breaking it if it is kept in the supplied soft bag.
