I bought two of these shirts, for Christmas gift so each could wear them the following week on our Montana vacation. It is a real good quality shirt, the material was thicker than most Henley shirts. I ordered fitted as they did not want the regular wide look at the waist area, both young adults are broader in the shoulders, one more than the other. If ordering the slim fit and you are typically not a slim fit orderer, order 2 sizes larger. It is 100% cotton and will shrink if it goes in the dryer. Both guys loved them but I should have ordered up 2 sizes on both! In the one photo, the black long sleeve henley shirt is an XL slim-fit, the charcoal gray was a large slim fit. My nephew's large charcoal slim-fit just fits him....no room for shrinking. Men always throw everything in the dryer. I am afraid it will shrink up a lot and not fit if it goes once by accident into the dryer. I cant comment on the regular fit. The younger guys like a more fitted style and why I ordered the slim fit. I didn't know how slim they would be in the shoulders, we wanted a more slim fit in the belly area. Its slim in both areas. The sleeve lengths were appropriate by size. Order up one size if they are dryer conscious men:) 2 sizes up if they are a typical throw it all in the dryer type of guy:) The black slim fit XL fit 200 lbs 5'10" with little room to shrink, I had originally bought him the Large and returned it before our trip for the XL. The black was more expensive than the charcoal but still a nice shirt for $17.

1) The material is very soft right out of the bag and is a tight knit, but I would say not heavy;2) The shirt has raglan sleeves, which I personally like on a knit shirt;3) The buttons are nice (a minor point, but it does improve the look of the shirt).The one negative I found is that the sleeves are just hemmed; they do not have the snug ribbed cuffs that many other long sleeve tees have (that's why I gave it a 4-star).

Amazon essentials is hit and miss, apparently. This is the only hit so far for me. I really like it though and I bought a second.I have a medium non-slim version of this, too, which is fine, but the arm and lower abdomen are a bit loose goosey on the non-slim.This slim shirt is perfect for me 5"9, 39-40" chest 33" waist, 160lb, long torso.Cons:* It's a bit short in the torso for me, but barely, and I'm abnormal in that I usually buy M/tall shirts when I'm 5' 9"* the collar kinda folds up a bit and frays above the top button* the fabric easily stainsThe pros:* fit's perfectly (for me)* fabric is soft and gets softer with each wash - it shrank a bit on the first wash but it relaxes* color is nice* raglan sleeves - these should be standard. The fit is slim around my body but I can still move around freely.* stitching is fine and non-abrasive. I am hyper-sensitive to this kind of thing, and this shirt doesn't have any problems with this. Usually I have irritation in the underarm in t-shirt style stitching , but the soft fabric and raglan cut make the effect minimal in this shirt.

The item itself felt nice and comfortable, but it didn’t feel long enough. If I rose my arms too much, some of my belly would show, despite it being sized appropriately for me.

Bought this in black and blue heather. Very nice medium weight cotton fabric. Well made and true to size. I bought the large. Item does shrink a bit, but not much. I’d guess about an inch. Normal for cotton. I’ve bought several of Amazon essentials clothing and have not been disappointed.

This shirt fits on the small size and is slightly thin but it has great bold colour sorry no picture on this my phones acting up today. I recommend sizing up on this shirt it is great for the price its soft fabric .
