I wasn't sure based on the branding, and I took it to Punta Cana with us based on some recent stings after a hurricane. I didn't notice any stings myself after about 40 hours in the water, but couldn't tell you if I came across any either. The sun protection was surprisingly impressive. As a pale skinned individual that can turn into a lobster in an hour, I was nervous, but came home with a light tan only.
