It takes a moment for the bulb to get up to full brightness, but works as expected. Brightness: as expected and comparable to other brands. Make sure you purchase the same color (cool, warm, etc.) as your other existing bulbs or replace all at the same time. Durability: Good. For me, this is a repurchase. I use these lights nightly. For my usage, each bulb will last 1-1.5 years. Quality: comparable to other brands sold at box stores. Cost: The cost of this item has increased since last purchased, but it is still a good value compared to what I would pay at my local stores for the same number of bulbs.

The brightness is as expected, and I’m so happy to have finally replaced the lightbulbs in the kitchen, BUT that crinkling, crackling, tinkling sound and flickering they make when they turn on is so annoying, and kind of unsettling I feel like I need to cover my head as if they may shatter. I’ll probably end up replacing with the Philips that were originally there.
