These Closetmaid shelf tracks were for my son. I wish I could use them. He has the attachment already in his closet. It was so easy to assemble and very sturdy. Everything looks so organized. This is a great purchase.

Super easy to install and very sturdy. I actually bought this entire system and ended up using just the hang system pieces because I realized that deeper 16" shelves would work better in my closet. Because of this, I needed to buy the 16" shelving and 16" support brackets separately (from Home Depot). Even with this change, the hang system works beautifully and installation took under an hour. Because I purchased deeper shelving on my own, I was left with the 12" deep shelves that came with this system. I bought wall brackets (fixed brackets that are not height adjustable) and used the 12" shelving in my storage room. I realize I Frankenstein'ed this system to fit my specific preferences, but that goes to show how flexible this system is. If you do decide to piecemeal this to your needs, just make sure any additional pieces you buy are designated for ClosetMaid to ensure compatibility and fit.

I ripped out the nasty old wire shelving, repaired the drywall, painted the entire closet, and then installed this new closet system. My closet is 4x6. I bought the 5-8 ft system instead of the 4-6 ft system because it was only a little more and included more parts (more flexibility). I measured multiple times and was very careful to locate the studs so it would be well supported. Once the structure pieces were on the wall, the rest was super easy. I am confident this will never come off the wall, though the shelves and rods could be ruined by children hanging from them. What did I have to change? Instead of cutting 3" off one hanging bracket, I cut 1" off one and 2" off the other so the holes would be 8" apart when butted together, in keeping with 16" studs. I also used better drywall anchors (the white ones like big screws) and screws (longer than the plastic ones that come with those white screw anchors) on the vertical supports because the anchors that came with the set ended up twirling and pushing all the way through the drywall. With all the measuring and remeasuring and rethinking the lengths and rereading the directions and finding appropriate screw and anchor replacelents, I probably spent 3 hours on the supports. The shelves and rods took less than half hour, including putting on the little end caps and moving the shelves around a little. The configuration will be easy to change as needed. I am very happy with the end result, and am glad I decided to fix and paint the walls first.

These are a great alternative to the traditional closet setup. They are sturdy, fairly lightweight, and have good capacity. Worth the money in my opinion.

This is probably the 5th purchase, Haven't failed me yet. Study once done right, very versatile set Ups, you can also purchase a sheet of 5/8 finish or whatever thickness that suits you and cut them to fit on top, Amazon also sells them but it's all press wood and costly if I'm being honest. I find heavier items or object it bends and warps the steel in the middle eventually, you can buy these separately but I find thst to be more expensive.

Great price for a solid closet system. Being able to arrange shelves to fit the closet space allowed for maximum storage. Very easy to install and directions were straight forward

Best closet organizer. Directions were easy to follow. We had to cut some of the metal to make it fit lengthwise which was easy enough (I guessed on measurements on the size closet I had) It gave me numerous shelves which i had none before this and just as much hanging space. I do not own a dresser so this was a perfect fix for my wardrobe storage. I Wish I had more space in my closet for add on hanging baskets for socks and underwear. I would recommend this closet organizer to anyone. I'm also selling our house and will have to leave behind the organizer but I'll be buying another one for the new closet! Best purchase and I have no regrets whatsoever in buying this.

Measure - measure first. Then it is easy as pie to install. I found it so adjustable to my 4' space By taking time to find your studs, it is so very sturdy. I'm always pleased with Closet maid organizers!

Very fast delivery. Strong sturdy wardrobes, very easy to assemble. Gives you lots of different combinations. Has transformed my bedroom and would highly recommend.

Installation was pretty easy, except I drilled one hole a bit too big so it had to be patched and re-drilled (my fault). The assembled product is quite sturdy and can hold many items and clothes. I am very satisfied with this product.
