So basically I bought these lights to illuminate my wardrobe closet and yeah these do the job perfectly.I use it in the day because even during the day there is no light coming to my closet and I had this problem for awhile now so I needed these. I just use the day mode which is the motion detection mode. Which is great. I put my hand near it and doesn't have to be close and it turns on from almost two feet away. I got these a month ago in August no problems thus far they're really simple to install. It has adhesive on one side and a magnetic strip on the other side of the tape. So just put the sticky side against where you want the light to be and you can just stick the light against the magnet and it stays there pretty steady. Its pretty convenient this way cause you can just take it off and charge it if you need to and then put it back on. In terms of battery life fully charged it on the day I got it and have been using it for a month haven't needed to charge it since and I open my closet at least 10 times a day. Take with that what you will. I used the remote just to test it out to see how it functions but the way I use these lights I don't really need the remote on a daily basis but with the time I had with the remote it is responsive I tested from like 5-10 feet away. Haven't checked from a further distance. Overall great purchase recommend anybody who has a closet or a space they need some light to get these lights. I know after purchasing these lights they made my little closet feel a little modern.

These are so much better than the last LEDs I tried to put in my closet! I have an under the stairs closet with no light that we are constantly in and out of. A three pack of these worked perfectly down the center of the ceiling. I put them in day mode so that they turn on as soon as they detect motion. One of them is close to the door opening so it turns on, which causes the other two to turn on a split second later. They produce plenty of brightness for the closet, and love that theyre magnetic so we can pull one out and use it for something if we want. I just attached the base with some 3M tape. I also like that there's a charging port so we don't have to replace batteries all the time, I can just plug one in when it dies. These are a really good value for what you get. I could also see someone using them as a night light say, for a bathroom at night time when it's dark. One thing I will note is that while constantly on, these will not last very long. We put one of them in a pumpkin for Halloween and it was dead by morning, but that's not really what they're designed for anyway.

I'm using these lights for task lighting in the kitchen. The results are excellent, I very much like having very bright light directly above my workspace without being in my eyes. Having the option to set the motion-detection sensitivity to work even in the brighter daytime means I don't ever have to fumble for the light switch or wait for those (expletive) CFLs to warm up to get bright(ish) . With old metal cabinets, I just plop the lights up there and they stay put with the magnet backs. The only ding is that, used this way, I find myself having to recharge them approximately every 2-3 days. I use 2, and have them alternating so that there's always one working, but it does get a little annoying and concerns me that the frequent recharging will greatly reduce the lifespan of the non-replaceable battery. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and consider them a good value for the cost, but I may look for an option with a longer battery charge life when these eventually die.

So I have a couple of closets in my apartment, where the bedroom lights are not enough to see what’s in them. I thought I try these LED Closet Lights and I am honestly sooooo happy that I did. These lights are awesome. I put two in each closet and one right near my back kitchen door, where I mostly enter into my apartment at night. I was always frustrated when I came home at night, and I couldn’t see anything trying to reach my light switch. These lights are awesome and so bright! They have different settings, where you can leave them on at night or a motion sensor ability. They last a long time before you have to charge them again. Oh, and it comes with a magnetic strip that sticks to the wall and the magnetic side hold the lights. I would recommend these lights (and I have) to anyone who needs to brighten up any space in their house. I purchased a set for my aunt, she’s elderly and I really feel at ease knowing that the motion sensor mode helps light up the staircase. Don’t think about it twice..JUST BUY THEM! You will not regret it.

It’s so nice to have light over my kitchen counters even before I know I need it. The lighting in my kitchen is behind me when I’m at at the counters near my stove. I didn’t want to install the lights permanently with the stick on method that came with these lights, so I used Command Strips, and they worked great. I hung three lights under three cabinets, and now if I want to move them, I could, Fortunately, there are outlets right near where I placed the lights, it makes it so easy to charge them when needed. Which can be pretty often depending on use. It’s nice not to use batteries. I wish these lights were a little brighter, but I’m really happy to have light in the workspace where I need it.

I purchased this item first in March of this year and because it worked so well I purchased another set in June! I bought these for my parents house. The house is on the older side and theres a central stairwell that doesn't have any lighting except at the very top of the stairs. The only issue is my parents would have to leave the light on all night for their upstairs tenants to use when they go to work or return from work. The downside is that it both adds a lot to my parents electrical bill and its not environmentally friendly. I then found these LED lights and they were the perfect fit. I stuck all 6 of them along the sides of the stairwell and set it on the motion sensor function. They only light up when someone walks up and down the stairs! After charging them, they last a little over a month an a half before needing to recharge them. My parents love them, they save money, are environmentally friendly, easy to use, and helps making dark spaces safe. I definitely recommend them.

I bought three of these lights to use in 2 pantries and a linen closet. They charge via a USB cable and attach via a magnetic strip with adhesive on the other side. The lights work great, and I recommend them. The only warning is that you have to be careful where you put them. I mistakenly put one of them on the top inside of the door jamb (see photo in this review) so whenever we reach in to take something off of the top shelf, we knock the light off and it falls to the floor. My recommendation then is to not put it on the door jamb but on an inside wall of the closet where you won't hit it. The charges have lasted a few weeks, but they are easy to just recharge in the morning, so they are ready at night. The price was right, and they do work as advertised.
