I, apparently, don’t have the palate for the real thing. Extremely sweet. The juice is thick and while wonderful tasting just a drop fulfilled my sugar craving. I bought them after reading an article on how these were the real deal and the ones you buy at a grocery store did not compare. Well, I ate three of them and man the sugar overload hit my head. Not what I was expecting. I’m used to eating numerous cherries out of the jar to satisfy my sweet craving. Not these. No doubt these would be wonderful for other uses (than eating straight from the jar) and I’m certain they are very tasty put in drinks, Gave it a five star because I’m certain they are quality and are exactly as they should be. They are not responsible if my palate is not refined enough to enjoy these. lol

Great flavor and texture in a cocktail. No glow-in the dark super sweet cherry here. The syrup is nice as a slight touch in a manhattan, etc. Yes, they are pricey--but at one a drink they are well worth it.

These cherries are perfect for an Old Fashioned—sweet, juicy, and with just the right texture. However, I never got mine in one piece. They were broken in shipping, which was disappointing. Hopefully, the shipping process can be improved, as they would’ve been fantastic if they had arrived intact!
