Worthmore Mock Turtle Soup, 10-ounces (Pack of12)

Worthmore Mock Turtle Soup is absolutely delicious! I am originally from Cincinnati, and Mock Turtle soup is one of the city's iconic dishes! My grandma used to make it and taught me how, but it's SO much easier to pop open a can of Worthmore's when I need a cozy winter's lunch.I am so happy that Amazon is shipping this fantastic soup - and in one day. I just purchased some for myself, and some for my brother as a birthday gift.But don't wait for a special occasion - try it today! And by the way - this is NOT Snapper Soup!

My parents were both from Cincinnati so as a kid I'd eat this soup when we came back to visit grandparents and such. I love it, it's actually hard to find in the grocery stores (living back in the Cincy area now) and Amazon makes it easy to find. Soup is great, beef, it already has bits of hard boiled egg among the other ingredients and after reading some other reviews I think I might try their suggestions on adding more egg and lemon juice as well. I highly recommend to try this soup at least once in your life, it's pretty awesome.

I am from Cincinnati, and when I was growing up I always loved Worthmore Mock but I moved to South Carolina and could not find it only was able to grab a few cans when I went back up to Cincinnati. But found it on Amazon. Still love the soup...

The soup is excellent. Most cans dented. Not in shipment as many dented cans were not against the box walls so they were dented when packed. Next time I order I will specify NO DENTED CANS PLEASE. Good soup though, especially when spiked with a little sherry and juice squeezed from a lemon wedge.

I have enjoyed mock turtle soup all of my life. I found it in Cincinnati, Ohio (Where I was born) way back in the 1930s. After joining the Air Force in the 40s, I never again lived in Cincinnati. Whenever I visited Cincinnati I would stock up on the soup because I could never find it anywhere else. I could order it to be shipped to me from Cincinnati, but with the shipping charge it was very expensive.Therefor I was delighted to find it at Amazon and will continue to order it as long as it is available.

If you are in the mood for snapper soup, keep scrolling!!! Doesn’t taste at all like snapper/turtle soup. Very disappointed!! I bought a case, I will add beef cubed and place over egg pasta to not waste.
