Do I also need a regulator to hook this up to my grill? I am converting my grill from propane to natural gas.

i converted mine and i dont use a regulator. Go the manufacturer of your grill and see if they offer a nat gas conversion kit, you will need to rejet the burners and the mfg website is the best place to find that jet kit.

Can this be used for gas to propane?

If you are referring to converting gas generator to propane power, the answer is yes. I just connected it to mine and it worked correctly.

Can I use the 36 ft hose on a natural gas bbq? Will the gas traveling through the line experience a “fire hose” effect like a drop in pressure

Pressure on a gas line after the meter is very light and shouldn’t effect it much I hope this helps

Will this work for Napoleon natural gas grill?

If you verify it has 3/8" ID fitting it should.
