Good quilt effect
Worked well for a simple quilted look. Done on an icing base, but they were thin and flexible so imagine it would work well around a cake also

Not brilliant, but definitely not bad
Not bad to be fair, only downside was they didn't leave too much of an impression when marking around the cake. Sure it'll be fine after a couple of attempts.I'm not sorry I bought it!

These don't make a full impression on fondant. I tried them a few times and it was difficult to get the complete pattern on the cake.

Very good mats
These were great. I bought mine to help ensure even spacing when doing a quilted effect on a cake. They were such a time saver, just press it over the soft fondant to leave an impression, go over (if needed) to deepen the line and pop edible beads into where the lines cross over. Saved a lot of fuss with a ruler!

Lovely and just what I needed.
A little difficult to get the hang of but once you get a bit of practice in, really makes a good impression and are so authentic.I love the finish on my latest cake. Would definitely recommend.

Fondant impression mats -4pack
My wife has done a lot of sugarcraft work on cakes for various occasions including birthdays, weddings & anniversaries. When we saw these on Amazon they seemed ideal. There was 4 of them with diamond & square shapes in different sizes. When they arrived they were a lot thinner than we expected in a plastic a little bit better than the plastic egg boxes. They were flat and quite flexible in each direction but at the moment we do not have confidence that they will last very long. Silicon would have been far better but would obviously be much dearer. As it is not something that my wife will use regularly we thought we would give it a go. The size of them (all four sheets) was just 5mm thick and 16x31cm sheets. They were delivered in box 30x40x10cm which seemed a bit extreme but at least they arrived in one piece.
