Landscape and Power 2nd Edition

He's an absolute genius, and this volume is one of the most compelling things I've ever read. Mitchell's own articles are the best, but there are numerous gems in this book, and there's nothing really like it in the field. Interdisciplinary in the best way. Only tiny quibble is that women and people of color aren't really represented much in the author selection, but the quality of the work is uniformly nonetheless very high, and there's a great piece by Edward Said.

Basically a heady textbook. Not what I expected.

This book is excellent for its critical writing but the worst I have ever come across for the quality of image reproduction. They honestly may as well not have been included.
