XS Scuba LT360 1000 Lumens Wide Angle Dive Light

I’m giving this four stars because I was sent the wrong light. The rechargeable light with a dimmer adjustment switch, as seen in product images, has been supposedly discontinued by XS Scuba. I was sent one with a button (see attached photo). It looked great and felt great in the hand, and it’s the same model, so I can’t blame anyone for the mistake. However, I wanted the dimmer switch, so I returned it. XS Scuba still offers one light with a dimmer switch. It takes C batteries, is a bit larger, and slightly less expensive in price. I ordered that one from a friend who is an XS Scuba dealer. The dimmer switch works great! Phenomenal on night dives, especially if you bring the gopro and need just the right amount of brightness. You can also buy rechargeable C batteries for not that much. This is really a review for the light I ordered, not the one I received. Contact a dealer and order that one if you want the dimmer switch!

I found this light reviewed in one of those, "10 Best of 2016" lists. The writer raved on its ease of use, construction and light quality so I ordered one. It showed up with a full battery and packaged nicely but had an issue where it wouldn't turn on occasionally. I called XS and they replaced the entire light for free (they actually have excellent customer service) as the tail cap was faulty. The new light functions properly. The problem is that while the beam is clean, the light just isn't that bright. It says 1,000 lumens, I know, but I'm just not seeing it. I've had smaller lights with more powerful beams. Another turn off for me is the switch. I like the dimmer function, but there is nothing to keep the light from sliding on while in your bag or pouch and heating up to surface of the sun temperatures (which it did almost immediately). I had to wrap a hair tie from one of the other divers to keep the light from turning on. Lastly, and this may not be important to some, but the lanyard hole is tiny and the ring it comes with is very weak. Good for breakaways but it just seemed weak. If you're use to using cord or zip ties to secure your lights to swinging gate clips you're out of luck. It may not be an issue for some; it's driving me nuts.Overall not a terrible light, but I can't find any reason to sing its praises especially for the price.

This light is fantastic! I love the fact that it's rechargeable. Took it night diving in Cozumel and it works great, much better than other lights I've used. I definitely recommend this product.

this torch is outstanding...the brightness control is nice to use when going in and out of swim-throughs. its great for day dives, i haven't taken it on a night dive yet...the size is ideal for guiding/teaching, because i can hide it in my pocket when not needed...the charge lasts for a long time as well, and being able to recharge battery just by plugging in the back of the light is so convenient...i am incredibly pleased with this torch

Flashlight arrived with the on/off button not working properly. Definitely need a more QA.

Best dive light for the buck. Excellent flood light, especially in murky water or low viz. I wish it had a better lanyard (or something more durable) but the light is amazing.

Garbage product. Two in a row that completely don't work.

I was given this as a gift and really enjoy the quality of the light. Plan to use it for many dives.
