RECOMMEND - especially for athletic activities.FIT:I wear 36" in some pants and a very loose 38" in others. I ordered XL and these fit a smidge tight in the waist, but I think they are supposed to, and they still have lots of stretch left in them. I could eat a big meal with some beers, take a nap, and these would still fit. On me, they come down to just below the top of my knee, but not quite to the middle of my knee, when standing.Riding / athletic activities - SUPER COMFORTABLE! The stretch allows the shorts to stretch with your body movement rather than moving the waist band around. Everything on the shorts stay in place, and just stretches when needed. You never need to adjust the shorts whether you're rock climbing, cycling, hiking or sitting at the sports bar for a few hours. GREAT WICKING! I've worked up hard seats where the padding on my bike helmet is fully saturated and dripping, but the shorts were completely dry. NICE!The red (maroon-ish) color is as pictured, it is a matte color, not bright or shiney. They have lots of stretch, and are very comfortable to pedal in. They are very light weight, I'm not sure what that will mean for long term durability. I wash mine in cold normal, give them 10 minutes of low heat tumble dry, then hang up to finish drying (as I do with most of my cycling wear). They hold up well thru that.

The shorts are made from a lightweight stretchy material with the black zones being even more stretchy. The back part of the waistband is elastic so the waistband pretty much eliminates The need for the Velcro side cinches and also makes the short seem more secure on the waist. There are normal jean style pockets that I don’t use, so I’m going to say they are pretty useless. There are also two lower pockets on either side, a vertical one and a horizontal one. I wish the pocket with the horizontal zipper was a little longer so I could put my phone in it, but it’s deep enough to carry some energy gels. The pocket with the longer vertical zipper is big enough to carry a phone, but it’s too big so the phone can rotate in it making it awkward. So far I only have one ride on these, but they seem pretty durable. I’m 5’9” and about 196 pounds, I ordered extra large and they fit perfect.

For about 15 years, I've purchased the Zoic Ether MTB shorts every 3-4 years. They cost about $80. It was time for a new pair. I decided to shop around since good products are coming out of more countries as the years go by. Aside - bad products can come out of any country too... The BERGRISAR seem great! At nearly a third the cost too. I am 6 ft, 185lb. Athletic build with a 2020 pandemic pudge I'm working off. Waist is ~39" but should be 36". Decided to go with the large since I'm back in my athletic routine. The size chart said I should fit in a large. They indeed fit good - just a bit snug in the waist like the size chart indicated but not uncomfortable. Should be a fine fit in 3-6 months. Four way stretch is better than Zoic. Front top pockets aren't too small for me even though other users stated this. My avg size phone (not one of the big ones) fits fine in it. Large phone won't. Lower pockets are much bigger. Waist band adjustments are solid. FYI, they don't get bigger than the size of the short - only smaller. Crotch feels fine - not too big or small. Feels good on my bike, sitting in a chair, or running errands. Has velcro in addition to front snap which I like since sometimes I'd pop the snap on the Zoic shorts when contorting. Went with black so grease and dirt don't show too much when I go to store and don't want to look like a scrub. But, I really liked that BERGRISAR had other colors which Zoic doesn't. So far, I like this product! Thank you!

Great for on the bike and just round the house

These shorts fit great. They’ve been durable all summer. Overall they’ve been comfortable and breathable.I didn’t like the single front waist button surrounded by Velcro. The Velcro snags on my riding gloves, riding undershorts, and even in parts of the shorts themselves. Now I make sure to button them when I take them off and for laundering. The Arsuxeo shorts use double snap buttons here with no Velcro.The cargo pockets have zippers that are welded to the fabric which I don’t trust to last as long as stitched. Also, sometimes you need two hands to operate them, which is kinda clunky.The main pants pockets are just barely deep enough for my phone and a little too short for comfort when it comes to my keys and small multi tool. I try to carry the bare minimum in my biking shorts, but the stowage on the Arsuxeo shorts is much easier and more secure.These aren’t bad shorts. The price is right, they’ve been durable for months now, hold up to laundering (I hang dry all my tees and shorts), and look great. They’re my second favorite summer riding shorts!

I wasn’t sure how they would fit, so I bought one L and one XL, they actually both fit pretty well I’m not a cyclist I just use these for every day stuff. I’m 6’ 0” 220lbs. The elastic waist on the shorts are great since I wear the smaller L pair when I need to wear my drop leg holster, the thinner shorts legs accommodate the leg strap without looking to bulgy. Pretty good shorts for concealed carry in my opinion too, enough pockets for whatever you need, light and somewhat elastic material all around. I would recommend.

Took them out to the trails first thing; liked the big, zippered pockets, and the snug fit at the waist while being loose and comfy elsewhere

Bought the medium sized shorts first, thinking they were a shade too large, though I could adjust via the two side Velcro straps to suit. The small size fit me like a glove. I'm between sizes, and have to suck and see with each manufacturer fitment to see what does and doesn't fit me. Quality shorts with ample room to place my wallet, keys and loose change in the zip up side thigh pockets. Delighted.
