I needed a last minute stocking stuffer for my son and somehow came across this game. It's probably the best thing I bought all Christmas– it lives on the coffee table and everyone in the house plays it. It has become a fun family competition to see who can get the highest score. It's user friendly and has several games, but we mainly just play Tetris. My only complaint is the battery life, but that just might be because we play with it so often.

I got this mini handheld Tetris game for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. It’s super cool, easy to use, and has lots of fun games packed into such a small device. Perfect for quick breaks or travel, and very nostalgic. Great gift idea and definitely worth it.

I agonised over whether or not to buy these for my 'Millenial' and 'Gen Z' nephews for Christmas last year. Would they love Tetris as much as this Gen X-er did? Would it be boring for them since they play the hi-tech games of today? With Amazon's Holiday Returns Policy, I figured I could always return them if they weren't into them and get them something else. When they arrived, I tried them out to make sure they worked and to see if the bright screen was going to blind them (lol) -- and I found myself on Level 7 by the time I realised I was still 'testing' it! lol! I did what was only logical then: I ordered one for myself! lol! I can happily say that my worries were unfounded, as my nephews absolutely LOVED these! And this is convenient because they can take their games with them to work and play on lunch breaks if they want to. The batteries last well, and you can always plug in with a usb-c cable if you prefer. I do that if I'm home sometimes just to spare batteries. It has bonus games which some may find pointless, and others might find interesting. I forgot what the other games were because my main interest in it is Tetris itself. This particular device will not save your place in any of the games. You can't put intials in for high score. When you turn it off, and then pick it up later again to play, you start at Level 1 again. It can be a little annoying, especially if you were flying through the Levels. But for $14.99, I could live with it, lol. Oh, and it DOES have the original Tetris song! The speakers aren't stellar, but it's the same song I remember from playing it on Nintendo (NES) in the 80's :) The screen *can* give you eye strain if you are in a dark room -- do be mindful of that. I didn't think I was being affected until my eyes got really sore and were stinging. Have a dim light on near you if you're susceptible to eye strain, and you should be fine, then :) There's nothing for games in this that I can think of that would need parental supervision. It's safe enough for kids! Pretty tame, I would think, in these days, lol. Overall, it's a fun and nostaglic way of relaxing and/or killing some time. Portable, doesn't eat batteries (in my experience), can be powered by usb-c, and has other games on it if you're not picky or an elitist gamer (nothing wrong with that! :)).

Great little handheld for my 6 year old. He loves Tetris and the bonus games and I love that his brain is being challenged by puzzle games rather than just staring at a tablet screen. We got this to add to a long road trip we have coming up and I think it will be a nice addition! Screen brightness is great, sound quality is good, and the design and button functionality are easy to figure out.

This is a lot of fun if you want to kill some time playing Tetris. Much better than playing on a phone, and even better than some of the console versions. There is no "hold" button or feature since this is based on an older version of Tetris that didn't have that. But still fun. Screen is bright, and sound is good -- and you can turn it down or off.

Bought as a birthday present for my friend. Opened it and was instantly hooked. Screen could be a little bigger but it works well.

Pros: For $24, it’s a decent handheld game for kids. Easy for kids to use and navigate. Standard batteries seem to last many hours of use. Cons: Requiring a screwdriver just to change the batteries on a frequently used kids device is just poor design. This needs to be corrected before I ever purchase another device. The instructions are really lacking. There’s literally no instruction on what the USB-C port is for, if it can used while batteries are installed, and no cord is supplied. The d-pad is a little janky.
