Coupler on b&g pump motor.

This was used to repair a 100 series in a rental property. This was a 60 year old system and the motor was whisper quiet but took it to the shop to have the bushing change and packed!Took all of ten minutes to put the thing back together!Bell and Gossett made things to last and the shop that did the motor attempted to sell me an after-market part instead of genuine replacement.. I laughed and he clearly understood!

The original couplers seem to wear out in 2 to 3 years. This is the first time I've tried the new style "cast" coupler. It seems more durable. Just installed it December of 2012....will let you know how well it performs, but it may take a few years. Later!

I came home from the overnight and the house felt chilly.My mom s teeth were almost chattering out of her mouth. I checked the boiler and whammo the springs were broken on the pump.I had just received these a few days earlier because I like having spare parts for things.I put them on good as new. I ordered 2 more and they wee here very quickly, hey Ill order one more !! CHOW

Looks china made but works so far

As expected. Does the job. But significantly overpriced. About 2x what is charged by plumbing supply houses.

The coupler is well made and fit and worked well. I have seen and had a few versions of this coupler. this style has had the best life expectancy of any i have used. I say buy 2 because this is a good version and it is nice to have a spare on hand. excellent price also.

Went on like a charm and our heater has been fine since. No problems, no worries.
