This item is exactly the same color as the image shown for retail. this fit my daughter perfect as I read other reviews saying to size up as a precaution. I will say that for adults I would recommend sizing up more than just one size. But for my teen it fit very well. Torso wise it runs slightly short. So if your torso is a bit longer this is not for you.

Really happy with this purchase but definitely listen to reviews and size up. I ordered the large for my 15 year old daughter who is 5’4” and around 115 pounds. She’d normally wear a size xs or small in adult sizes. Comfortable and versatile. We were able to adjust the strap for a halter style.

We have used this brand & style of leotard from for years in child sizing, but now that my girls are getting older, we had to move up to adult sizing. My youngest should be in the child XL which is on the size chart but does not exist, so I compared the actual size measurements with the adult sizing and according to the charts, the adult small should have been perfect. She couldn't get it over her hips, so we tried it again in the adult large. Again, it was way too small. She can wear a child large and it's a little snug, but how is an Adult Large smaller than a Child Large??? They need to fix their sizing pronto.

This leotard is so tiny a small child, as in an elementary school-aged child could almost get away with wearing it, EXCEPT, they'd likely have a hard time filling out the buttocks. It is cut very high in the legs and very low in the bust, but this is ideal for a base leotards; the audience should not see it. This leotard will have no trouble accommodating pretty much any costume! It has a nice, low back too! With a little adjustment of the straps, no one would know it was there. The color is lighter in tone, but nobody should/would see that and it wears well under costumes without corrupting the colors of the costume! I would recommend this leotard to dancers 12 and up. It has a ton of stretch and seems to be made of high quality material that is easy to wear against the skin and won't snag easily. Would highly recommend. This is an excellent undergarment, with noticable quality and a fair price. 5 stars across the board!

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I bought this for my schools musical production of Les Mis and it worked absolutely perfectly. I needed something that couldn’t be seen on stage, and from the first picture it is seen that you can’t even tell I’m wearing anything under my corset, which was the whole point and it was super effective. The clear straps were perfect too, because you couldn’t even see them! I loved this for what I bought it for, and if you need this I would totally recommend for any sort of costume or just extra coverage for under a dress.
