A good back up strings to have for back up.

I/m so glad I found these packs of duplicate strings. Now I don't worry as much if I break a string, I've got more.

Great strings—same as in the coordinated sets. I buy 9’s, 11’s. And 16’s to replace broken string when the rest are still fresh

I needed a new steel string for my balalaika. I had hoped to be able to use the round things at the bottom with my existing pegs, but the round things were way too small for me to be able to use. I needed to cut it and knot it like I was a sailor, but it did work really well and so far it hasn’t snapped. If you aren’t already a sailor and/or are not in the mood to research how to do knots, maybe measure your pegs to see whether the round things will fit your instrument.
