Nice sturdy steel 540/550 R/C motor mounts - but I can't use them on my current model boat build. Yes, I could have drilled additional motor mount holes but they might work on the next boat build. My problem is that they mount the motor too high that even with a two U-joint drive shaft, the angle wont work well without heavy vibrations. Yes, those U-joints are correctly timed but the short driveshaft exceeds 3 degrees which is absolutely the max with a very short driver shaft. Oh well, more 'spare' parts

Screw holes for the motor have no adjustment.

This thing is amazing and is what you're looking for to upgrade your 9209 RC motor mount. If you regularly swap your RC motors out of sheer curiosity then you need this mod.I was looking for the plastic motor mount for my RC for an experiment with a 3674 brushless motor. Not cool that you had to buy the whole motor just for the mount. This motor mount, when secured and screwed in, can even act as a 'quick release' for the pinion if you only screw in the outside screw. I fancy myself an expert on modding 9200s. This mod is so so wonderful, I hope other 9200 owners find this.Complaints about it being weak and 'bendy' are unfounded imo. I haven't yet tested it with 4s-6s but it seemed solid. Updates to come as wear happens.
