Can't beat the brand name. Well worth the price.
I originally tried a no-name quick link of similar design to these. Not surprisingly, they failed to lock together tightly and could be released with a light pinch. That was incredibly dangerous. I tossed them in the trash and ordered these instead. These KMC links snap together tightly and can only be disassembled with quick link pliers. They function perfectly with my shimano 105 11 speed drivetrain and chain. I like that they're gold so they stand out from my silver chain and make it easy to know when you've lubed the whole chain. I carry the 2nd one as a spare in my tool kit with a multi tool with chain breaker just in case I snap a chain miles from home.

Great alternative
Work great for less money than the links each chain company sells. No issues.

Must-have item
This makes chain maintenance SO much easier. Good thing to keep in saddle-bag too. Fits well, goes together easily. Getting apart with bare hands is a challenge, but using a pair of "chain-pliers" (?) makes it easy. Highly recommend.

Only option, but perfect
If you're a total boss and bought the gold (call it what you want, KMC... it's a gold chain) KMC chain for your bike, these are pretty much your only choice for a matching Missing Link. Perfect color match, comes with two pairs which is great. Replace that old worn out one you've been telling yourself is "fine" or repair your chain so you don't have to sell another kidney to get a new one!

Just About As Good As It Gets
Removing the link is easy but requires a chain breaking tool. Installing the link ranges from very easy to not easy at all. There have been times when the link just snapped into place and times when it took several tries with a tool. The package says that each link is good for 3-5 uses. I am a paraffin user, so I install a newly lubricated chain every 250 miles, or so. I'm just not sure why I couldn't use the Missing Link for 10 installation, as there is no visible wear. But, I haven't dared to go beyond 5 installations. I have never had the chain break or even slip a cog tooth. There is no difference in shifting between a permanent link and a KMC Missing Link. Except for the frequent difficulty of installation, I'd give it 5 stars.

Works great
11-Speed version works great on Shimano 11-speed chains. I use a quick link tool to install and remove the reusable version.

Works as advertised
Very useful if you remove and install chains on a regular basis.
