The actual charm is nice. It's a shiny silver necklace with a dark black pawprint. However, whoever designed the "fill kit" (tiny funnel) for this doesn't understand how cremated remains work. They are not a uniform size. Sometimes there are slightly larger chunks, making it difficult to get the remains through the excessively long, tiny funnel end. Unless their goal was to add a lot of stress and pain to an already painful occurrence by forcing the owners of deceased pets to painstakingly cram their pet's remains into a tiny locket with their fingers, they have failed at their job. It took me a good 45 minutes to get this tiny chamber filled, and I had to use my fingers. I'm not squeamish, but I know that plenty of people would not be comfortable having their dead dog's ashes all over their fingers and work area. I also don't mind having lost a little bit of my girl, but I bet some people would.IF you have already purchased this, here is my suggestion for filling. Discard the funnel. It will clog and become a nuisance immediately and repeatedly. Prop the urn up so it sits (securely) vertically however you can. Get an index card. Scoop a *very* small amount of your pet's remains onto it. Sort through the remains looking for larger bits that won't make it through the opening of the charm. Move those elsewhere with tweezers or something. crease the card and gently pour the remains into the urn over a piece of paper (to catch what doesn't go into the opening). You will probably need a needle or similar tool to sort of coax the ashes to fall in. Repeat until full.

My necklace arrived today and I love it. My husband helped me put a bit of my best furry buddy, Bear's ashes in it and I tucked a bit of his fur inside on the top. It was a two person project to get it in the pendant but I knew it would be. I love the size and the weight of the pendant. And the one paw on the front is perfect for me...my Bear had big paws so it reminds me of him. I would say I got a great deal on this. I did a lot of looking before I decided on this one and I'm glad it's the one I chose. I don't have any reason to doubt it will wear well over time. I think I might but a bit of "Lock Tight" on the screw and permanently secure it shut...just for good measure. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. I hope yours brings you as much peace as mine does to me.

My baby's ashes are inside and sealed in. I can no longer wear it tho because the stupid loop that goes on the necklace fell off. So it is in 2 pieces. Do a better job...... My heart is broken...

Funnel awful , very difficult to get the ashes in there

I was very tearful trying to find the perfect necklace for my fur baby's ashes. I automatically took to this one. Was a little sketchy but as soon as it arrived I loved it!! It's beautiful! Paw print is darker than pictured but I still love it

It doesn't look like the picture. The metal is very reflective and i don't like reflective necklaces. the paw is black as well, and the whole necklace looks very dark colored very often. the picture makes it seem like it'd be a very light color. other than that, i LOVE the length of it, and it was pretty easy to get the ashes into it.

I love that my baby is with me all the time. Only thing is eventually the paw prints comes off :(

This is a beautiful product. It is a honor to put my Tiger's ashes in it. I am thrilled to wear it everyday and to proudly show it off in his honor. It makes a great memorial in his name.
