Great brush set, the thinner brushes could hold their tips a bit better, but if I’m honest that has more to do with how I paint… Good price good range of sizes, especially with the dry brushes and the liners and details. Decent durability so far.

I don’t often leave reviews for stuff but this is the easiest five stars I’ve ever given something. The set comes with a lot of brushes, really big variety. That being said I’ve really only used two for a couple weeks now due to only doing detailed work, and not once have they split or frayed. After weeks of use they’re still rwzor sharp and very soft. These brushes outperform even my expensive ones. Highly highly recommend.

I just got back into 1/24 model car building, it's been a few decades. Needed some brushes and didn't know where to start. So I bought these and have been very pleased. I'm no expert, but I'd say these seem to be good entry level brushes. I'm very happy with the quality for the value. If one takes care of them, it's seems these will provide decent durability. I also like the thicker triangular shaped handles. They've seemed to have helped me while my brush handling skills are still being developed. I have only one complaint, granted it doesn't have anything to do with the quality. I later learned that they don't sell any of their brushes individually. They only come packaged as sets. I dropped a brush and damaged the bristles and need a new one. Totally my fault, it landed on the bristles pointed straight down, but a bummer that I can't just buy that one same brush as a replacement. This is fine for getting started but I feel if one continues their hobby regularly, they're going to have to replace them at some point. If it works out to just buy a whole new set later, that's fine. But otherwise I can see me needing to replace some of them more quickly than others. Again, really happy with these but I think I'm going to have to move on to some brushes that I can buy individually. This will put me into more expensive brushes but as my skills improve I might be able to take advantage of a better brush. Otherwise, these are a great buy for someone just starting out, someone that's unsure of what sizes and shapes of brushes they need, or someone who can get some mileage out of the whole set.

This is an excellent set of brushes. With a variety of tips it is so good for any type of miniatures and you can just tell they are great quality by the hairs of the brushes.

These brushes are ( by far ) the best brushes on the market to date, very high quality and easy to use, the bristles hold paint very good and reshape consistently, the size is perfect with good functionality, there is no better value for money anywhere else other than NicPro when it comes to paint brushes, I use these for miniature figure painting and there is lots of choice for different painting styles, some painters want one brush that can do most tasks without swapping brushes, you will definitely find that almost all of these brushes can do multiple tasks without the need to swap, I have used expensive "pro brushes" from other "top brands" who supply brushes specifically made for their own brand of paints, but they do not come close to the quality you will get with NicPro while using almost any paint type, I hope this helps, I highly recommend to everyone.

J’ai acheté ce set de 21 pinceaux Nicpro principalement pour la peinture de miniatures et figurines, ainsi que pour des travaux de détail nécessitant précision et régularité. Après plusieurs sessions d’utilisation, je peux dire que ce kit est très complet et particulièrement intéressant pour son prix. 🧰 Contenu et variété Le gros point fort de ce set est clairement sa polyvalence. Les 21 pinceaux couvrent pratiquement tous les besoins possibles : • pinceaux de détail très fin (liners, rounds, flats), • pinceaux angled spot pour zones difficiles d’accès, • et surtout 5 pinceaux drybrush de tailles différentes, ce qui est rare dans cette gamme de prix. Cela permet de travailler aussi bien les bases, les textures, les éclaircissements, que les détails précis, sans avoir besoin de compléter immédiatement avec d’autres pinceaux. 🎨 Qualité des poils et comportement à l’usage Les pinceaux de détail utilisent des poils synthétiques fins, qui tiennent bien la pointe. Après plusieurs nettoyages, la forme reste stable, sans écartement excessif ni perte notable de poils. La peinture est bien absorbée et restituée de manière régulière, que ce soit en acrylique ou en peinture plus diluée. Les pinceaux drybrush, composés d’un mélange de poils (dont poils de chèvre), sont très efficaces pour : • les effets de texture, • les éclaircissements progressifs, • les reflets métalliques. Ils accrochent bien la peinture sans la déposer de façon trop agressive, ce qui permet un rendu plus contrôlé, même pour un utilisateur moins expérimenté. ✋ Prise en main et confort Les manches en bois de bouleau, avec leur forme ergonomique légèrement triangulaire, offrent une bonne prise en main, même lors de longues sessions. Le pinceau ne glisse pas, la fatigue est limitée, et la sensation de contrôle est appréciable, surtout pour les travaux de précision. Les viroles sont bien serties, solides, et ne montrent aucun signe de jeu ou de faiblesse. 🧼 Entretien et durabilité Avec un entretien classique (rinçage immédiat, remise en forme et séchage à l’air), les pinceaux conservent très bien leurs propriétés. Après plusieurs utilisations, je n’ai constaté ni perte excessive de poils, ni déformation prématurée, ce qui est souvent le point faible des sets bon marché. ⚠️ Points à améliorer Pour rester objectif : • Les pinceaux ne rivalisent pas avec des modèles haut de gamme spécialisés vendus à l’unité. • Les pinceaux de détail très fin demandent un peu de soin à l’entretien pour conserver une pointe parfaite. Cela reste toutefois normal et acceptable compte tenu du prix et du nombre de pinceaux inclus. ✅ Conclusion Ce set Nicpro de 21 pinceaux est un excellent choix pour : • les peintres de miniatures, • les amateurs de figurines, • le modélisme, • les projets créatifs DIY, • et même les débutants souhaitant un kit complet dès le départ.
