Wellshire Farms, Classic Sliced Turkey Bacon, 12 oz

I love uncured turkey bacon, and wanted to see how this compared to other brands. The value for money is excellent, and it is important to me that these do not have antibiotics in them. They taste great, and they are not as dry as other brands that I have tried. I like how thick they are as well. Will definitely buy again!

I struggled to find turkey ham and this was a fine surrogate. Although I don't eat much processed meat and am trying to avoid pork, I yearned for my guilty pleasures of BLT or ham sandwiches.

Meaty - little fat. It tastes good. Not really bacony but I like it. No nitrates or nitrates.

First, don't try to compare turkey bacon to pork bacon. They are different. So, starting with the premise that this review is about turkey bacon (not pork bacon comparisons), this is hands down the best brand available.

This was my first time buying turkey bacon. It smelled like bacon upon opening and the meat was sliced nice and thick. Be careful pulling it out of the package because it tears easily! I roasted it in the oven to try and get it crispy - it browned nicely, but it never crisped. It tasted very similar to bacon, but it had the consistency of beef jerky. It was tough and difficult to chew. Not a huge fan.
