Cheshire Crossing: [A Graphic Novel]

I like this graphic novel because it is a very entertaining mix of fantasy and humor. The art is excellent. The writing is engaging. I appreciate the intriguing dialog. Although it is of course inspired by other stories such as Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan, Cheshire Crossing is very much its own story. It touches upon some serious subjects in a way that draws attention to them without being too much. Please have a look and give this magnificent book a chance.

This is the first graphic novel I’ve ever read and I chose this one simply because I love the illustrator and I enjoy the Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. What a great concept. I’d enjoy the story more as an actual book but this was a interesting change of pace and I quite enjoyed it. I look forward to the next in the series.

Alice, Wendy and Dorothy all in one book! I doubted the story could come together with so many strong characters to work together, but I liked the cover art so I gave it a shot. I'm very pleased to find that the book was a lot of fun. I found each of the girls were true to their origins but evolved to what they could have become after their adventures. Wendy is a fighter,prone to quick action like Peter. Dorothy is the thinker, taking after her friend Scarecrow. Alice is a Machiavellian strategist, always looking for traps and setting a few herself. The ending was nicely tied up with a happy ending and a lead in to their next adventure. I hope to see a sequel soon.

I got this book because I’d enjoyed the story online with Andy Weir’s original art, and was not disappointed by the increased detail of the excellent Sarah Anderson. Andy told the story well but the art was a little simple, and Sarah added several awesome costumes and backgrounds, especially all the flowers. I was slightly disappointed by a few minor details, such as the nanny’s concealed identity and Wendy catching Hook’s sword without cutting her hand, but my only real disappointment is that the story’s still incomplete. I hope this much being published will generate enough interest that we can find out what happens next!

Putting the three girls together in one story is fabulous. And Sarah’s illustrations are perfect. I can’t wait for a sequel!

to childhood stories. Somewhat dark but likable characters, and dislikable, vile villains. Mysterious characters as well. Great and colorful graphics.

This is a lovely fun intriguing downright extraordinary book. I own a copy, but have shared it with friends so many times that I have had to buy it again twice because it’s so much fun to read (with the kids of course… ?). Everyone I have share it with or read it to asks the same question— “are there more?”. Dear Mr. Weir and Ms Andersen, please continue this. It’s too much fun, and there’s plenty of potential! For everyone! (All ages — the youngest person I have given it to was 7, the oldest was 66.

Discovered this through a plug by Sarah. I've been in love with these four tales since I was a child, and seeing them weave together like this, and brought to life by Sarah's stunning art, is a wonderful treat! Andy's writing is impeccable and none of this feels at all forced. I sincerely hope there is a volume two!!

Awesome story, awesome illustrations. Really loved Alice, Dorothy and Wendy. The Nanny was a pleasant surprise. Hope there is a sequel as well

Since the book is in English review will be in English.I loved the book. I really like how Andy Wier has intertwined the characters and the stories. And the artwork of Sara is gorgeous. I would love to see a sequel to the novel.Enjoy
