Great game
Great game and fantastic customer service. Contacted twice for support and both times replied promptly. Very happy 6 year old.

Quality
My son loved this for Christmas. Worth the money. My father in law passed away a few years earlier in the same house and we were playing with it on Christmas Day with our young son having a laugh. My son bowled and a sound of a ball being dropped came from the room above and bounced across the floorboards. Checked upstairs and nothing, no ball. We all definitely heard it. So how’s that for a recommendation from beyond the grave. Don’t be spooked. We were glad he joined in on Christmas Day I’ll never forget it and feel it was a happy moment.

Great - brings back childhood memories
Great table top game - a real blast from the past. Major difference from the original game is that the bowling is different - ball is now 'thrown' rather than rolled and is much more difficult and problematic for it.The boundary is now a rope that velcros down and the ball will go over and roll onto the floor and can easily get lost. The original version had plastic strips that fully held the ball in play. Both these do make this lesser and not as good as the original - but still fun nonetheless.

Brilliant customer service
Great fun game. Very like the one I had as a kid in the 80s. The batsman was broken on arrival but the seller was fantastic and sent a new one immediately. Great service, thanks!

Very disappointed!
Having had the original “test match” game over thirty years ago and spent so many enjoyable hours playing it, I was thrilled to see it on sale again and couldn’t wait to play it again with my son.Unfortunately, the bowling and batting mechanisms have been changed hugely. The batter - no longer controlled with a string - has almost no backswing and can’t generate any power to stroke the ball. The bowler - now has a catapault delivery action rather than a long chute - is hugely inconsistent and sends down ball either too fast or bouncing too hard. The joy of the original game was consistent rolled deliveries and a batsman to at could strike the ball and generate some power. This new version is so bad that after three nights attempting to player it, it is now back in the boxI would love to know why they have gone away from tried and tested batting and bowling designs. These new ones simply don’t work!A once great game totally destroyed. What a shame!

Better than the original
Bought this for my husband at Xmas, and we’ve throughly enjoyed playing. He has said it’s better than the original. Only down point is you need to flatten the mat for a few days first to get smooth pitch.

Great game...although
Great game although I've played the older version where the bowler was a different design and I think that is a lot better then the current oneThe seller was fast and efficient
