Great pan, good price.
I really like this pan. I currently own the 8, 10 and 12" OXO frying pan and am happy with them all. This is my second 10" pan. The first lasted about a year before losing its non-stick. That actually sounds bad, but the pan was used all the time. My son eats 5 small meals a day and this pan might be used 2 or 3 times a day. He has a tendency to cook with higher heat than needed and he uses cooking spray like its going out of style. When I received this new pan, I noticed it had a sticker declaring not to use cooking spray and not to use high heat. I do not remember the first one having that sticker, but figured that was what killed the pan. Anyway, the non-stick on this is great. I have been cooking for 40+ years and have used many different brands of frying pans, from cheap Walmart brand to Calphalon and the Oxo is definitely my favorite. In terms of cost, they are in the middle of the pack, but they perform better than the much more expensive Calphalon pans that I have owned. Build quality is top notch. The pans are light, even the 12" pan, which is a huge bonus for my wife. I would most likely use Cast Iron for all my frying pan needs if they weren't so heavy. My wife won't touch them. My son recently bought a ridiculously overprice Made In stainless steel pan. It cost 2.5 times more than the Oxo and he still uses my Oxo more than his Made In. Generally, I can use a paper towel to clean these pans of debris. the Made In, no chance. That thing is a pain in the butt to clean. Don't believe the hype with pans like Made In or Hexclad. I have used Oxo brand utensils for years and have been happy with them. I didn't know the pans existed because none of my local stores sell them. I found out about them from America's Test Kitchen. They were their best pick. Project Farm also did a review of frying pans and rated the Oxo a very close second to the winner. Where has Hexclad? Below the Oxo, but more than 3 times the price. I don't think I'll buy anything but Oxo frying pans from now on.

Well-constructed and excellent non-stick performing frying pan
The Oxo Good Grips Pro frying pans are the top non-stick frying pan recommendation from America’s Test Kitchen, and rightfully so. The pans are surprisingly light but very robust, well balanced, and the non-stick surface performance is excellent. The pans heat up quickly and evenly with no hot spots. The handle is stainless steel and very sturdy. Because stainless steel is a poor heat conductor, the handle stays cool and you do not need pot holders or a silicone handle cover to grab it. I purchased the 10” and 8” versions of the pan. These frying pans do a great job of cooking anything and everything. Especially breakfast eggs and potatoes which are the main reason I needed them. I am treating the new pans with kid gloves, making sure to only use non-stick coating safe utensils (wood or silicone). As well as thoroughly cleaning, and drying them after each use. Make sure to not use dish washing liquid that contains bleach or citrus additives as these will break down the non-stick coating. I am hoping to get many years of “non-stick” use out of these pans. I needed a lid for the 10” Oxo Good Grips Pro frying pan to cook breakfast eggs. Previously I had used a general-purpose lid with the 1.5" to 2.0" silicone edge. Although that worked, the silicone edge tended to accumulate grease from the oil/butter used to cook the eggs and was difficult to keep clean. And so I was looking to obtain a new lid. Luckily the B08X6VQ6QS 10" Ozeri Tempered Glass Fry Pan Lid (part number GL3-26) perfectly fits the 10" Oxo Good Grips Pro frying pan. I measured the diameter of the Oxo 10" pan at exactly 10.75". The Ozeri lid is specified to be 10.7" in diameter. This results in this lid being a perfect fit for the 10" Oxo Good Grips Pro frying pan. The attached photos show what a great fit this lid is for the 10” Oxo Good Grips Pro frying pan. The silicone rim on the Ozeri lid is much smaller (only 0.5") than on the general-purpose lids (1.5" to 2.0"), and so I am hoping it will be easier to keep it grease free. One minor issue with this Ozeri lid is that the steam vents are on the side edges and not on top. This results in the lid getting “fogged” up a little bit more than those with the steam vent on the top. Hence visibility into the pan while cooking is a little bit less, but that is not a big deal since you can still generally see inside there. I did not purchase the B08X6CKMS8 8” Ozeri Tempered Glass Fry Pan Lid (part number GL3-20) but it is specified at 8.3” diameter. I have measured the 8” Oxo Good Grips Pro frying pan diameter at 8.3”, and so this lid should fit well. Note: the Ozeri lids are delivered with the knob put in backwards. This is done on purpose to create a lower profile lid for easier shipping. They even included a note saying as much, and that all you need to do is unscrew the knob as shipped and re-install it in the correct position. See attached photo.

great pan when you really need non-stick
I think I've bought 3 of these now? super easy to use and clean. Heats up quickly and while non-stick surfaces can be fragile, this one seems a bit tougher than say your Nordic pans. I believe this pan was highly rated on the America's Test Kitchen. I've owned a few cheaper non-stick pans and this one is my favorite (and I won't feel terrible when the non-stick coating begins to peal and I get an exact replacement.)

It's a great pan, but I only got 1 yr out of it
I've purchased my fair share of non-stick pans. I prefer stainless steal personally, but my SO likes the non-stick. This pan performs great for a while. After about a year, it started to degrade and is no longer shiny and things start to stick like a regular pan. We have always used non-stick safe sponges (the blue ones) and nylon brushes on them, but they still get marred up over time. I'm going to try another brand next and perhaps even give stainless a whirl.

Amazingly easy to clean
For years, my husband and I have daily cooked with a set of Oxo non-stick coated skillets -- 8" and 10" -- replacing them every two or three years when the surface began to degrade. The price was modest so it wasn't much of a hardship to replace them regularly. But recently we discovered these Oxo ceramic hard-anodized skillets -- 8", 10", and 12" -- and we will never return to the old, coated ones again. These pans are amazingly easy to clean. No matter what we cook, the foods slide off this surface -- cheese, eggs, fried fish, fried rice, browned meats, whatever! A quick swish with a soapy dish rag and the pan is clean. A quick swipe with a dry dishcloth and the pan is ready to return to storage or to be used again. An added advantage is that the pans can go into a 430 oven for final cooking, if needed. When we bought the 12" , we got the one with the glass lid because [surprisingly] it was cheaper to buy it with the lid than the pan alone [go figure]. I read all the reviews and I see where some buyers lament that the surface on these pans also deteriorates over time. We don't put these pans in the dishwasher because, frankly, there's no need so perhaps the ceramic surface will last a bit longer for us. No matter. The ease of use and cleaning is enough to insure that we'll use these pans as long as we can and replace them with the same, if/when needed. We can highly recommend.

From best to worst
The old PFAS version of this skillet was sold on the same product page, and it was fantastic. Now this version no longer has an effective nonstick coating. You might as well be cooking on stainless steel. On the first use I cooked scrambled eggs, and the eggs stuck to the bottom and needed to be scrubbed off. The heat distribution and ergonomics are still good, but the ineffective coating negates the positives.

Good frying pan
This is perfect for my purpose. The base is big enough for frying and sauteing and the non-stick feature is perfect. I love this pan.
