This is for certain the best hot cocoa mix I’ve ever found. I love those cheap Nestlé packets with the baby marshmallows and all of that jazz, they’re just so darn horrible with their high fructose corn syrup. I find this has a very similar but superior taste as far as goodness but taste like a higher quality and it definitely does not have the hfcs. That stuff will destroy your liver, avoid it. This package does not contain dehydrated marshmallows, which I’m sure is 10 times better for you, not that they’re good for you in the first place, but the fresh marshmallows taste a lot better anyway. So I make a very small amount which is another thing I appreciate about this package is you don’t need to have a full cup of Coco. For me maybe a third of a cup in a mug is enough to satisfy the itch and I don’t have to throw the rest out like I do with pre-measured Coco packets. It makes it easily and well and taste great with a few marshmallows on a cold night. Get it. You won’t regret it.

These single-serve cocoa sticks are amazing! These make perfect gifts and stocking stuffers, and we even used them as a giveaway in gift baskets. So easy to use, a huge hit with kids, and they taste delicious—our family favorite. We also love that they’re made locally, which makes them even more special. Highly recommend!

I got these to enjoy as a treat while watching Hallmark movies, and even though I read the review saying this is totally different than big brands of hot chocolate mix, I went in with a definitely idea of what it would taste like. Even though I followed the directions, it tasted a little weak on flavor. My husband said that’s because he apparently makes any type of mix with less water that what’s called for, so we’re just acclimated to smaller cups with more flavor. I have a feeling now that our expectations are adjusted and we will use less water, we’ll enjoy it more the second time. It’s less of a gourmet cocoa and more of a pure one? Like if you want fancy, this isn’t it, but if you want good clean ingredients, here you go. Not docking stars for this but i would recommend considering the big bag vs individual packets because the product box was destroyed the way these were shipped. It’s not the cocoa’s fault though, so that doesn’t affect my rating.

*Update: I contacted the company directly and they were able to secure a refund from Amazon for me. They also were very sorry about my experience and assured me they were going to look into that specific batch for quality control. Very impressed with their quick response and the refund!* I have previously purchased this cocoa from a store before and loved it, but my package from Amazon tasted bland and like spoiled powdered milk. The package was not expired so not sure what happened with this batch. Unfortunately, unable to return on Amazon which is a waste of money!

Taste good. The first envelope open and cocoa was all over.so I got one less for the price. Maybe I am being a little harsh.
