These are good quality brushes. Great price. I use them for pastry. Silicone brushes are good fir BarBQue but I prefer the boarshead brushes for my pastries.

the brush is soft and delicate so it doesn't damage my breads when I am doing egg wash. I also love to use them for greasing bowls and ramekins. much better than silicone brushes that tend to be think and clunky.the only problem is I have found several times it leaves bristles behind. I am hoping that will stop after using and washing a few times.

After just one month of using only several times the bristles are coming out in our food ! We eat a piece of pizza we made and chew on bristles! Threw them away because choke hazard and just horrible picking them out of baked foods . I wouldn’t even want a replacement for free that’s how my review ends ! Amazon please check into this product and it’s hazards . Thank you

These are better than the plastic bristle brushes.

I needed to replace 2 of my pastry brushes. I saw these two I purchased. When I received them I was more then satisfied. These brushes are very well made and somewhat larger then I thought. they are great . I cannot believe I got them for the price I paid at such great quality . Vey well satisfied great purchase

I really like the size of the brushes and that they are boar bristle so that they allow you to smoothly apply the oil/lime juice mixture for baked tortilla chips. They are difficult to clean out the oil and take a really long time to air dry. After only 4 uses they are starting to shed bristles. Unfortunately, I will have to trash one soon and save the other for minimal use.

Not sure if these are washed with soap. I'll have to check the website. However, they are the perfect size for basting.
