Excellent
Great product—works perfectly with my Ninja V. It holds tight and feels sturdy. Really happy with it.

Met my expectations.
I had been struggling to find what I considered a simply, sturdy mount for my external camera monitor that was bulky and just easy and intuitive to use. I had seen a few video reviews from a few YouTubers on this particular mount and the cold shoe is what intrigued me. I'm currently using this on a Tilta cage via the cold shoe on the top handle to mount my PortKeys BM5II external monitor. The locking mechanism feels way sturdier than any other option I have used previously and the ability to rotate it 180˚ and tilt up and down without having to adjust any knobs and it just stays in place is great. I also have a NPF-970 battery attached to the monitor so it does a great job of managing the weight in my opinion.

Another great product from smallrig
I used this to hold a 7 inch monitor on top of a Tilta cage on a BMPCC 6K pro. The tilt mechanism is stiff enough that it holds the monitor in whatever position I place it. There are two caps on the edges that can be unscrewed to give access to a small nut inside if adjustments to the tilt friction are needed. The mounting knobs are easy to grasp and turn. Overall I am well pleased with this item.

Quality craftsmanship — pairs well with Atomos Ninja V
I have other cold shoe mounts, but I wanted something I could absolutely count on when it came to mounting my Atomos Ninja V. This fits the bill. You pay a little more, but you get quality you can count in and piece of mind. I'm confident this won't break while I'm in the process of counting on it. I'll use my other mounts for led lights and things. This one is for pricey payloads. Recommended!

Not a 5 but almost there
I would give this a 5 star but not quite there yet. I got mine and it was sturdy as all hell. So it took a while for it to loosen up to where i can comfortably move it around. also depending on the monitor you have the screw can fit well or be a bit loose. Not the products fault but if your monitor does not have built in screws that are shallow. It might be a bit hard to get it on at first. Once you have it on its good. For monitors with external screws. Not worth it, as the monitor itself will move around and not be sturdy. Not the products fault but just keep in mind when looking for a monitor. 100% recommend just be patient and dont be afraid to use force

Pricey but a quality accessory
While there isn’t an adjustment knob for tilt tension… there is a healthy amount of friction built in to accommodate a stacked Atomos Ninja or Shinobi without any concern. This actually makes the accessory much easier to use. The two remaining dials help you secure it to your monitor and cold/hot shoe base. These are quality dials that feel solid and secure, on par with most of the accessories you get from SmallRig. There really isn’t much more to say beyond this. It’s functional, good quality, and you do pay a premium to have it… but in my opinion it’s absolutely worth it.

Worth the cost.
I was tired of using a magic arm to mount my monitor to my rig. This is the perfect solution. My rig and handle are from SMALLRIG, so this fits in without issue. It’s sturdy, the tilt and swivel are smooth and hold strongly in the desired position. I use two big batteries on my monitor for extended shoots. This mount has no problems holding the monitor in place. It’s a little pricy for what it does, but worth it. I’m satisfied.

Had a cheaper version of this type of monitor holder. That one doesn't hold a candle to this one by SmallRig. The SmallRig one is heavy, dense feeling, and is made from premium materials. The way it locks onto your camera feels very secure, especially since it can be tightened with an allen key. I also like how it never loosens after multiple times tilting the monitor. Another excellent SmallRig product.

Super nice if you’re using this with a top-handle or gimbal. Not too stiff but strong enough to hold a heavy monitor. The knobs are great quality & the way it twists is amazing! So handy, especially if you have to e camera on a tripod but are standing beside it. 10/10 would recommend 👌🏻

Seriously, a 50$ Monitor mount?! Yes, and it’s absolutely worth it. Cheaper ones were loose and felt like the monitor could fall at all times, but not this one. It’s built like a tank and ready for travel. Only thing I would prefer is that the base would be made of metal instead of plastic.
