sizing
returned again, I have again purchased several Capezio shoes with not much luck the sizing is very difficult. Most have been very large when sizing up as recommended. or too wide. It also depends on the shoe type

A disappointment
I wear a 7 1/2 regular, sometimes a wide in some brands, but most wides are too large for me. I've worn Capezio dance shoes my whole life, and decided to return to tap as an adult.I ordered an 8 wide, based on reviews--and it's so incredibly narrow, I can't even have them on for 2 minutes. So narrow. These are either a mistake, or Capezio is all in on the usual "make women think everything about them is too big" game. An 8 1/2 would be too long, the length is not the issue. These babies are NARROW and made that way.So returning, I'll try some Blochs now.

High quality at a great price
Only needed for use in 3 shows plus rehearsals for a play, so i went with the cheapest i could find in a 10 wide. Definitely better quality than i expected.. nice soft plush interior, solid construction and most importantly very comfortable.

Order a Size Up
I bought these for my 9 year old. She wears a size 4 in shoes. I ordered a size 4 and they were way too small. I reordered a size 5 and they seem to fit fine. She has not had a tap class yet, but she says that they feel good on her feet. Before we ordered these, we ordered a cheaper brand, but they seemed cheaply made, so I returned them right away. I would rather pay a few more dollars for quality - but know that you should probably order the next size up.

Recommend but watch size!
The shoe itself is vey good quality and pretty But order a size or two bigger. Our daughter wears a size 3.5 shoe normally. We ordered her size and it was way too small. We were able to do an exchange and received it within 24 hours. Excellent service how ever it too was small and we had to re-order another size larger. The company is fantastic to deal with.

Very cute.
I really like the shoes it's comfortable and also very cute designed. However, one thing I may suggest other buyers that you may want to buy a size bigger because once you dance in those shoes, them can become a bit tight on you. It fits me comfortably before I dance in those, but it hurts my toes after one hour of dancing. I wish I could've bought a size bigger.

They are great for my beginner tap class and the ribbon holes ...
I ordered a 9 after being advised to order a whole size larger. I normally wear and 8.5 (39) and these were far too big. I ordered an 8 afterwards and they fit perfectly. They are great for my beginner tap class and the ribbon holes allow you to add your own personal touch.
