I used a black frame which looked nice. ### ⭐ If you buy this kit, get your own materials separately *by on Reviewed in the United States February 17, 2022* As with so many Dimensions kits, there is no where enough floss. In this case, it's the metallic thread they short you- less than half what is needed. I am an expert, lifetime stitcher and don't waste my floss. It's a beautiful pattern, but I strongly suggest you choose a separate brand of gold metallic thread that is readily available and use it from the beginning. There is no way to get it from the company any more as they have been bought, sold and merged numerous times, and have no customer service. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Peacock Butterflies Counted Cross Stitch Kit *by on Reviewed in the United States January 26, 2016* This product is even better than the picture showed.
