I bought this ice mold because of the size of the balls it makes. They fit well into my insulated water bottle and the four balls last pretty much all day.Other reviewers are saying that the tray doesn’t work well, but I’m fairly certain they are not filling them correctly or can’t see there is a correct way to attach the lid. I snap it together then just fill from the faucet. I don’t understand what is so difficult with that. I set it on the counter, use my index and middle fingers from both hands to plug the holes, flip it over to drain the water off the top, give it a quick dry on the sides and bottom and into the freezer it goes. 5 hrs later I have ice balls for my water bottle. If I was going for perfect balls then I would use a single mold, but then are there really perfect balls out there?Overall this suits my purpose. I think for all the bad reviews those might be the people that warning labels were created for.

This item give you exactly what you are looking for if round cubes are your thing. I should have realized that you would have to use something under it for stability and not a huge issue, what was slightly inconvenient was the little hole that you fill each cube by. They provide a "tiny" funnel which can be a little tough to use and hold on to the tray. Also...if there were some kind of drain holes in the top section that let water out if there was overflow in filling it would be great, you can't really tip the tray to get rid of it because the cubes drain too which requires you to refill and the cycle begins all over. Function is fine, design could have been slightly better but I would buy them again if I need another one!

Very difficult to fill tray and get a perfect circular ice mold. Not worth the hassle

Love these ice balls. They fit perfectly in out Contigo cups. Using the tray is simple with the included funnel. I usually fill a 5oz dixie cup and pour for about 12 seconds into each opening. Each dixie cup will fill two spheres. Removing the ice spheres is also simple. I have an older tray from another seller. I've noticed it will leak unless i first run the top and bottom under hot water. This one doesn't (yet) need this treatment.

A little difficult to fill, doesn’t seal very well

Mine was delivered without a funnel. It's very difficult to fill. The pieces do not fit together snuggly. The photographs are misleading. It's almost impossible to get a perfectly round sphere. As I stated this product is marginal at best.

Ice balls are somewhat small. It is hard to tell when the mold is full and water runs out of the sides of the mold. Not a good buy for the cost.

Rubbish. Rubber top won’t even securely fit into its base. Water spews out everywhere when you lift it up and carry to freezer, and I don’t over fill it. You can’t anyway because the water, as I just said, spews out. Not worth money. Don’t buy.
