Worked awesome on the large format (10x20 inch) wavy tile.
I drilled holes for sink, bath, shower and toilet plumbing. 6 holes in all. All in a thick large format tile with a variegated surface.A few handy tips:Use a little water or it will get very hot and could break your tiles. I just poured a little water from a pitcher periodically. Also keep in mind that you'll have to have a steady hand if you're using a drill like I did (instead of a drill press). I stood with the tile on the ground between my feet and used my legs to keep the drill from skipping around when I started a hole.Holding the drill a little bit off of level helped too. I was able to get a shallow rut on one side and then flatten out to drill evenly.

Cuts great!
Used this with a drill press and squirt bottle for lubricant.Went through about 20 glass bricks and did not notice any dulling on the last brick. Cut through a brick (3/8") in about 30 seconds to 1:00. Does seem cheaply made, so professional use it may not hold up.
