Super paints!
Bought a Hagrid figurine from Schleich. But the figurine was very poorly painted. So I had to edit it with Vallejo paints. The result was pleasing! Excellent paints for figurines. Easy to choose a color, mix well, cover the previous layer of paint well.

Top of the Line Paints from the GOAT Model Paint Company
If you are looking at this because you have never had a box of paint from Vallejo, I can say without a doubt that in terms of quality their Model Color paint line is above and beyond the best paint money can buy for painting miniatures and scale models while maintaining a large selection of colors at a reasonable price. Initially, for around 25-30 dollars I was very skeptical about these assorted paint sets but breaking the math down at the current listed price of $26.17 for 16 paints it comes out to ~$1.63 per paint, which is at least a dollar better than what any game store I've been to will sell these to you for on an individual basis, with retail outlets like Hobby Lobby charging as much as $5 a dropper bottle of the same size.Outside of pricing, what you get for your money is some of the best color, coverage, and smoothness of any paint, though like every acrylic product, do not think you can use this straight out the bottle, thin your paints with water, or, PREFERABLY something like Vallejo Glaze Medium for longer usability on the palette and better, smoother texture from the brush.I got this box because it comes with a nice medium tone, Flat Red color as well as the coveted Yellow Ochre which pretty much has the best opacity and deepest yellow out of any yellow paint I've ever tried, along with other great paints like basic blues, greens, and everything else you need to paint just about anything you can think of. I use these for both brushing and airbrushing just fine and again, so long as you thin them respectively for either medium they're perfect. If you've never tried Vallejo, get this box. If you have Vallejo and are looking for more colors, get this box.

Great miniature paints!!!!
I actually took a risk and bought these "used like new" to save a few bucks. The packing has a heavy, not pleasant or unpleasant smell, like the original purchaser spilled some perfume or essential oils onto the outer box?Who cares!? The paints themselves are perfect!!! Nothing dried out, all paints appear full. I was very pleased. I cannot and will not spend hundreds of bucks to paint a few $5 minis. I MAY go pick up 3-5 more colors at Hobby Lobby (maybe), but honestly, if used on a simple wet palette (you can learn how to make on Youtube--all you need is a small tray, paper towels, and baking parchment paper), this color collection can REALLY give you everything you need to make any color you are looking for. THE PERFECT BASIC SET TO GET YOU STARTED.I recommend any new or moderately experienced painters to check out Kujo Painting on Youtube. He has AMAZING, SHORT tutorials, that will help you understand how to mix colors, as well as how to paint textures like leather, metals, skin, even fabric patterns like "plaid" on a smooth 25mm-28mm miniature surface. Best tutorials on Youtube, I feel like I checked out ALL they other mini artists, Kujo Painting is far and away the best (and he uses tons of Vallejo products, he really likes the paints with their pigments & consistency). Good luck, painter friends!💖

Good starter paints
These are great starter paints, but very basic and limited colors. Have pretty good coverage and work as designed. Great for someone just getting into mini painting, but as you advance your paints will too.

Great looking colors
Vallejo does a great job with its paintings, and this set is no exception, it allows to combine and create another colors. The results are great, as always.

Easy to use, good quality paints
I'd heard good things about this particular set, and I decided to get this for my start into miniature painting. The paints themselves have pretty good coverage, if not on the first coat, then definitely on the second or third, depending how dark your undercoat is and how much you thin the paints. The metallics (silver and gold) have been working pretty well, though I notice they do separate if you leave some out on your wet pallet overnight. Mixes back up fairly well afterward in spite of that. The set comes with 16 colors, and I think what's included is all I really need. If I need something that's not quite in the box, it's very easy to mix these up on the pallet to get exactly what I want. Some of the recipes I've used include:-Red + brown = oxblood-Black + white = gray (I've seen people complain about the lack of gray, but it's so simple to mix your own)-Silver + black + maybe a bit of white = gunmetal-Silver + gray = steel-Brown + buff (a sort of khaki color) = a lovely beige-Red + a bit of orange = a lighter, more medieval sort of red-Pine green + yellow ochre = a summer grass color (drybrush it with yellow ochre afterward to enhance the effect)Just fiddle around with the proportions until it looks right, then paint away!

Liking them so far.
Was using Tamiya to hand paint details, but it was tedious and difficult. I'm still new to hand painting, but I do like these quite a bit. Firstly they can be thinned with water so it's nice not having to worry about fumes from thinners. Otherwise these paints are nice and dry smooth (I havent had any issues with paint strokes though I've only used red so far) and Matt, though they seem a little on the thin side so I'd advise others to be careful about the amount of moisture in their wet palettes. If your beginner like me I'd these are a great place to start.

Great product
These paints are perfect for painting miniatures. The colors are vibrant and last long. Multiple coats need to be used but that is expected. This brand is impeccable and I would buy them again.
