Exceptionally easy to install
I did not rate the charging power as I do not know fully how well they charge, but @ 4.2amps and 4 ports, they replace a wall outlet very quickly and nicely. I DO recommend you also buy the face plate that goes with them. I built a charging "station" in a custom built cabinet. 8 regular wall outlets plus 4 of these 4 port USB chargers. All twelve of these outlets are wired into a cart / table (cart because the entire table can move because of the ball casters mounted beneath). The cart / table is replacing a table next to my EZ chair. ALL my remotes / tablets / phones etc can attach to this cart for charging. The cart has a cord that plugs into a wall outlet in my apartment. The cart is about 8 feet away from my wi-fi router. It makes charging and locating all your devices in a convenient spot of your choosing. Guests can bring their devices in and immediately plug in to charge. IF they forgot THEIR cords .. I have all the cords necessary for any device. The cart has 16 USB ports to charge from / 16 regular outlets to plug into. These 4 port outlets are a breeze to install. Kill the circuit you want to install on (breaker in your home or apartment). Unscrew the face plate on the outlet in your wall, then unscrew the outlet you're replacing from the outlet box it's attached to. Unscrew the wire nuts. Remove the outlet. Put the 4 port USB outlet into the electric box AFTER you wire nut the new USB outlet to the existing wires in the box (wire nuts are provided in the 4 port USB box and are color coded: white to white / black to black / green to ground or bare copper ground).Screw your new USB outlet box in place where the old one was ~ put a face plate on it. Turn your power back on at the breaker. Start charging. That whole evolution takes about 10 minutes TOPS ! Enjoy your new 4 port charger. I suggest one in the bathroom, kitchen (maybe two there) and at least 1 in each bedroom. I won't mention the dining room / family room / TV room (whatever) ~ oh ... sorry ... just did ... LOL. You get the point. EZ PEEZEE.

Totally worth the money
Let me preface this by saying in my house we have the following...3 iPad's (1 iPad 3, 2 iPad Mini's w/Retina)3 iPhones (2 iPhone 4s, 1 iPhone 5s)1 Samsung Galaxy S4Needless to say I have chargers and cords all over my kitchen. One outlet which was completely covered in chargers I replaced with this USB hub. It was extremely easy to install even for a novice home repair person. It was exactly like replacing a normal wall outlet. What is nice is that you charge all of those devices I mention above (max of 4 of them, not all 7 at the same time, not enough plugs). It doesn't matter which ones or any order you plug them in. The outlet itself has a microchip inside of it that detects the device connected to it and applies the correct amps accordingly. This is only USB charger I have found that can charge my Galaxy S4 the same speed as the OEM charger that came with the phone...and at the same time charge say 3 iPads, or 2 iPhones and 1 iPad...etc.For my household, this was completely worth the money, but not everyone may have an extra outlet to spare or need to charge as many devices as we do. There is a 2 USB / AC outlet combo version for that person instead. I stuck with the Leviton brand because all my outlets in my house are made by them and from my experience their quality is top notch.

Great outlet with one major flaw
After realizing how many USB devices I have been taking up on my surge protector, I thought getting a USB outlet would help reduce clutter and make charging them much easier. As soon as I removed the old outlet and wired the USB outlet, there was not a lot of room in my box to push it in. But with a little bit of work and a lot of electrical tape, I managed to fit it in properly and not to snug. Wiring it was simple as they give you 3 wire nuts for HOT, NEUTRAL, & GROUND. At first when I plugged my iPad Air 2 in, it stated to charge then stopped and then started to charge again. This is because the outlet has a microprocessor to measure the how much a device is drawing so it can charge it more quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended but I wish Levition would make it a little bit thinner for more crowded boxes. If you have a GFCI outlet, this will fit inside just fine but for any other outlet please do your homework before buying.

These work really well for multiple devices
I had one of these in my old condo, and it's the first improvement I made to my townhome. I installed this by the kitchen counter. The outlets with 2 ports aren't enough, and I don't use AC devices there, so this is pretty much perfect. I run 2 Qi pads from it, plus spare cables for things like tablets, kindles, watches, or anything else. Lack of power has never been a problem, and this is more than enough for overnight charging or topping off. It's not really a super fast charger, though should do the 2.4A on one port which is pretty good.Probably the only improvement I could think of is an updated model with 2 C and 2 A ports, with PD.

Great for the bed side.
I have a regular receptacle and a four port USB next to my bed. this works great for charging my two phones, watch and air pod case. I use this daily. never had an issue.

Pretty good!
It does the job, it's not as fast as the original iPad 4 charger but it's close. I tried charging two big iPads and two HTC smartphones at the same time and it works just fine. My HTC One S though, it reports USB speed charging (500mA) instead of full speed 1Amp but then again I haven't yet found a charger other than the original one that can charge my One S at full speed, and I tried many. I was hoping the smart chip would do the trick, but no luck.I agree with another reviewer here that got this for free, that it should include the wall plate for this price. One other con for me is that it comes with flexible wires attached instead of screws as I am not a big fan of using wire nuts, especially when you combine one rigid wire with one flexible wire on the same wire nut. Conclusion: I had to solder for peace of mind.I wish I had gotten this for free like the rest of the reviewers here (my review is the seventh one here and the first one not from Amazon Vine).

100 % recomendable
